"We stayed at Alpine Gables as a gateway to Thredbo for mountain biking. The accommodation was comfortable and parking very easy and felt safe leaving our bikes on the back of the car in the carpark. Having easy access to Woolworths for groceries, and directly across from the lake for a quick dip was great. "

"I was on a driving holiday and visiting Jindabyne for the first time hoping to get in a few beginner walks. The property was located in a wonderful location walking distance to the lake which has a couple options for walking. The property had excellent features with everything you need after exploring the surrounding townships. Was able to relax after long days. Definitely a property set up for both Summer and Winter holidays. You can drive to Thredbo and take the chairlift (at a cost) to take 4 - 6 hrs the Mount Kosciuszko Summit walk noting you need to be prepared for various conditions. I hope to get back in Spring when it was not so hot on the days I visited. I was interested in the Snowy Mountain Scheme which was well covered by the museum at Adaminaby. "

"Great location, place has hotel and motel style rooms. The former has underground parking. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only gripe we had was the lack of liquid hand wash soap in the dispenser and the inability to find someone to address it (it was a contactless process.) "
