Thought we would give this hotel a try with Expedia touting an extra large king bed. Best description of the location is it was located in a recently rezoned from agricultural area. Still developing, but away from the established shopping complexes and the like, though there were some supermarkets a few minutes walk away. The hotel didn't have an operating restaurant, so looking for breakfast and lunch was challenging, though there were a number of restaurants close by opened for dinner.
The entrance to the hotel was rather nondescript, and the lobby was small. Check in was quick, though when asked about the extra large king bed the reply was a look of extreme puzzlement, that was when we realized we have been duped by Expedia. The assigned room opened to a very pleasant looking decor, showing sign of recent refurbishment. However, closer inspection revealed poor workmanship/material, not helped by poor maintenance and inconsiderate guests, supposedly non-smoking, with cigarette butt burns in the carpet, and worn areas around. The bed was a regular king, firm with 4 pillows. There was a cushioned window seat that ran wall to wall, a small round table, no other seating. Flat screen TV and air-conditioner/heater both looked fairly new and worked well. A kettle with 4 tea bags, 2 free bottled water and some snacks that were priced. A hair dryer was provided, but no bar fridge or room safe. 2 bedroom slippers were provided. The bathroom was a good size with an enclosed shower, t
