Bed was incredibly lumpy, they added a mattress foam topper to try to help, but it needed serious replacement. Dips in the bed made sleep difficult. We actually had to reverse sides and sleep with heads at the foot of the bed, and even then struggled to sleep. Staff cleaned the wash closet outside our room at 4am, and due to the gap under our door we heard everything and it kept us up. Floor had debris and a wad of hair, we had to ask the front desk to vacuum the room properly. They require you to check in the key at the front desk (similar to Paris), and attach the key to a large wooden block so you don’t lose it, which we found demeaning. Overall this place has a lot of potential with great location and room layout, but the furnishing, bed and carpet are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom needed updating as well, and our conditioner bottle had not been checked for refilling. Would not return.

Reasonable price, reasonable stay
"Better than last time. Room was very warm though and controlled via radiator. Even with it turned off it made it quite warm in the room. Bed was comfy enough. Ate here too, standard fare, but cooked well Walls are a little thin too, so conversations could be heard from louder residents. All in all ..."

Nice place but a fair walk to oxford
"- comfortable beds, average size room. Nice walk in shower. Has safe that doesn’t work. I couldn’t find if it had air conditioning but the night was cool enough not to worry. Has paid parking. No fridge or microwave. About a 1/2 hour walk to downtown Oxford."
