Number 43 is our stylish, contemporary, luminous apartment on the first floor of a 19th century palace, accessed through a classical central courtyard. The building, is in the heart of the historical part of Jerez, situated on the same street as the famed flamenco museum. All the sights, Bodegas, Peña flamenco and shops, including the wonderful food market, are just a few minutes stroll away. Please note: the apartment is on the first floor, with two flight of stairs due to the height of the ceiling. The en-suite bedroom has the open stairs as on the photo., hence not recommended for anyone with a mobility issue.
We've had many very successful longer stays, some for several months at the time. This open-plan, loft style apartment is best for a couple, should you decide to work from there, allowing perfect individual privacy for those work calls.
Jerez is is a great city, both for work and play.
Included in the price, is our parking space in the underground garage next door, very important in the old town!
We 're well connected by train to visit Seville + Cadiz or arrive from Madrid. Jerez airport is 20 mins. drive, Gibraltar and Seville are about 80 mins. drive. We can organise for you to be collected at any of the 3 airports, please ask for the fee.
Our 104m2 apartment is peaceful and sunny, away from the street, facing south-west with views across the old town and to the vineyards beyond. This loft-style conversion makes full use of it’s 5 meter high ceilings resulting in a beautifully spacious apartment with an abundance of light.
The en-suite upper bedroom with king sized bed can also be made up as two singles, if required and on request. The en-suite bathroom is "petite" but cute with a Hydro-Shower, a sink and toilet.
The downstairs bedroom has a double bed, a writing desk, wardrobe, small library, using the beautiful Philipe Stark equipped bathroom with its large bathtub (shower-over) sink and toilet.
Children: Suitable only for Children over the ages of 10 or babies up to crawling age . We offer a cot & highchair.
The living/dining area is luminous and spacious with comfortable leather settees. The Smart TV offers Spanish TV with all films/documentaries in original language, Netflix and I-player with most UK channels. Apple TV can also be used to connect to your mobile devices. Bose speakers connect via bluetooth to your phone, iPad or computer, for you to enjoy your own music and feel completely at home!p
We have Fibre Optic installed offering up to 600MB. We also offer a work station with a printer.
The German fitted kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need to make best use of the delicious local produce. Efficient air conditioning keeps the apartment cool in Summer and warm in Winter.
All spices, virgin oil and vinegar, coffee, tea and other dry foods are in the kitchen. This allows for easy living/dining, we're so close to that wonderful vegetable/fish market.
Jerez is a city to enjoy at a leisurely pace, stopping here and there for a Fino or Oloroso, with a little bite of something delicious. There are so many open air eateries and fine dining restaurants in the neighbourhood!
The month of December is very festive, Zambombas echo in the streets. These happy gathering reflect the spirit of Jerez.; Joy of life, good company, playing, singing and dancing together.
Jerez is part of the Sherry triangle, with Sanlúcar de Barameda and Puerto Santa Maria. All 3 towns have so many Bodegas, the choice is yours. You can either visit these towns by car making use of our private parking space, or by public transport. Cadiz is a 30 mins train ride or less in the car. Seville is about an hours ride. The white villages are nearby, you'd be spoilt for choice. Ronda is a highlight.
