The Get-a-Wave Cottage is located in the waterfront community of Nettles Island (Lot #2091) in Jensen Beach, Florida (South Hutchinson Island). Situated right on the Indian River Intracoastal Waterway with a private dock and access to all of the community amenities. The home is a short 4-minute walk to the beach, and has been newly renovated for a modern, comfortable vacation stay. Open floor plan with amazing water views of the Nettles Marina and the Jensen Beach Bridge. The cottage offers a modern, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining and bar area, living room with water views, 2-bedrooms, 1-bathroom, deck and dock. Gated community with many amenities, close to restaurants, beach, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and more!

Second time here, great location! Has a dock with Snook lights to fish and having the boat lift enabled us to bring our boat. The hosts are extremely helpful if you have any problems or questions. There are many great amenities includedas well.

The place is very safe because the place is gated with 24 security. While we tried fishing, too many bugs, There are many parks to go biking, we rode almost everyday and got that much needed tan, we enjoyed are stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable home on Nettles Island. This home had everything we needed for a week’s vacation. The location was perfect, on the water, with great views of Nettles Island, the marina and sunsets every night. Luisa was a perfect host, was very responsive, and a joy to deal with. An absolutely wonderful place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Getaway
This house is now part of a family tradition ! We stayed for our third year in a row. The house is very well maintained, in a wonderful location. It allows us to have family time and enough activities to entertain all the age groups as well. We are happily looking forward to the next visit.

This place was perfect in every way! We really enjoyed having breakfast each morning out on the dock and the view is amazing, dolphins, boats and the sky was stunning in the evening. The cottage had everything you would need. The host was lovely and always available. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed 6 nights in this wonderful property. The location and view could not have been better. Fishing off the dock was a big hit and my favorite part of the house was the kitchen with a beautiful panoramic view of the Indian River. There were Dolphins every morning right outside the door and every single day and night snook around the dock as well as a multitude of other fish. The house is extremely spacious and comfortable. I look forward to booking this again next year and years to come.

Completely amazing! Many thoughtful items all around the cottage. The high top table and chairs on the dock just the right height to enjoy the view. A empty basket on the dining table for keys and easy access. The basket of makeup face cloths in bathroom. Vacations for us means NO makeup but a thoughtful touch! Thanks for everything!

Fishing Paradise
My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Get-a-Wave Cottage. The house had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, cleaning supplies and even bug spray (which we needed when the sun went down). The best part of the property was the dock and access to the water. I am an avid paddle board fisherwoman and I was able to launch my board right from the dock. When not out on my board, I fished right from the dock and caught snook, mangrove snappers, and ladyfish. Luisa and Luis were great hosts and we will definitely be back to stay. Amazing trip!!

We stayed at this property last year and loved it. This year my wife and I had our adult grandson in tow and he was similarly impressed. As before the property was spotless, well equipped and in a terrific waterfront position. This allowed us to fish day or night from the private dock as the immediate water front was illuminated at night attracting in fish. That said the majority of fish caught were catfish but that was probably due to our lack of skill rather than absence of big fish. The location of the property is great for visiting the local Hutchinson Island beaches or driving round the attractions of the greater Stuart area. I can highly recommend this property.

Very nice property, only complaint is mattresses are very uncomfortable and need replaced. Also, tv in the livingroom doesnt show as many channels as the bedroom tvs.

Nettle’s Island was such a wonderful place. They had so many amenities and everything was so well kept. Not a spec of trash anywhere. No loud partying. This was definitely my vibe. The Perez’s home was very beautiful. Very clean and well equipped. The dock lights are cool at night. Lots of fish! Make sure you are aware of the no see ums near the mangrove trees though. They will eat you up at dawn and dusk! They have thought of every detail imaginable here. The master bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on while renting. On vacation, I like to be able to catch up on relaxation and sleep; that can be hard to do when you are sleeping on a terrible mattress. I find it more often than not the owners do not want to invest in those. They sure did here! Everything was perfect. Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed! We will be back!

Great place to stay
My stay at this property was fantastic. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this was one of the best. Property was just as the photos portrayed and the view of the intracoastal was phenomenal. I have usually stayed at beachfront but was very happy I chose this location, especially since the community had a beach side pool and beach access. One of the most amazing things was all of the items that were included such as beach towels, beach chairs and even a number of items like salt, pepper and a few other spices, bug spray, and many more items.
