Perfect place
We loved this unit. Ocean views from both levels are great. The unit is well appointed with a beach theme and is close to the beach. End unit by a walkway to a boardwalk over the dunes. The beach is shallow and if the tide is in there is no beach by the water. Plenty of sand above the dunes and a nice walk to Driftwood beach which is awesome. There is a flight of stairs to reach the unit. First floor is a kitchen , dining and living area with TV and balcony with chairs or stools. Upper level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with balcony off the master bedroom (queen bed). 2 twins in 2nd bedroom. The only drawback is not having a powder room on the main level. If you have knee problems the stairs will be a problem. It’s a lovely unit with books and board games for use. And close to the pool too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Jekyll Island. We have been visiting the island for 30 years. I do have to say this is the first year that we had any problems with our stay. Our condo's air conditioning broke twice during our visit. Our condo was also not as clean as usual when we arrived (Urine around toilet, food under beds and couch). Maintenance was very quick to come and repair. Our biggest obstacle was not being able to access the beach from the villas like we had been promised when we booked our reservation. There were 3 days where we did not have beach access due to no crossover to the ocean.

Sunshine getaway
A lovely condo overlooking the ocean with beautiful sunrise and an abundance of birds including flocks of pelicans. It is a two story unit with one bathroom and both bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom faces the ocean with a small narrow balcony. It was nice to be above ground with ability to leave screen open at night and hear the waves crashing ashore. The balcony however is very narrow and not suited for extended periods of time. The chairs are hard stools with no table for drinks or food. There is another balcony on lower level with same set up. When we arrived the balconies were filthy with bird debris. My husband had to scrub the floors and wipe down the chairs before we could go out and enjoy the view. There were also bundles of dust bunnies in master bedroom and trash along the wall, which could use a little more thorough cleaning. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable with a nice kitchen area for preparing meals. Due to Covid 19 the restaurants were closed for dining, only allowed take away so we had to cook a little. The location is not close enough to walk to restaurants or the only grocery store so you have to drive to get around although it's not a big island. My biggest concern was the lack of cross contamination precautions from the property with employees working without any masks or gloves. I watched as housekeepjng staff went in and out of units to clean without any PPE, watched as laundry was handled both clean and soiled without gloves, watched garbage collection without gloves or masks. The garbage bins are in wooden boxes with attached lids requiring one to lift before depositing trash. I carried sanitizing wipes with me everywhere because I saw how contaminated every shared and used item/structure was. We knew we were taking a chance traveling during this pandemic and took precautions to protect ourselves however I do not feel that the majority of people I observed did the same. Overall, a lovely place and worth revisiting but under the circumstances I am concerned about needing to improve sanitation safety.

Jekell island must see location
Island was wonderful. Resturants were nice and diverse. Condo was nice. View amazing. Mattresses were very very hard. No fan in the bathroom so the floor was very slippery. My mom is very particular about bedding so she changed the sheets and refused to use the pillow. Other than that it was great.

Jekyll Island Condo - Sun, Waves, and Boardgames
The Jekyll Island Rental was in a prime location. We enjoyed the sun, waves, and proximity to Driftwood Beach. The condo we stayed in was cozy but dated. It had all the accompaniments of home, including board games for those rainy day afternoons.

There was mold and mildew on the ceiling above the bar in the dining area, no screen on the downstairs balcony door, upstairs balcony door very hard to open/close, and the mattress on the master bedroom bed was terrible. As we prepared to leave we found a huge spider on a chair. However, other than that the unit is in a great location, well equipped with a beautiful decor, games,with a fantastic view.

Wonderful getaway
The property was in an excellent location for exploring Driftwood Beach. Downstairs was spacious, upstairs could use a deep clean including the walls and baseboards. It would be a smart idea to chuck the dust ruffle as it was full of sand and dirt. Perfect size for us, but I could see the one bath being an issue for more than two. We would rent here again.
