"Online booking. Confirmation information did not extend to necessary check in details but our arrival time was within the parameters of supposed manned reception. On arrival access was problematic and achieved only with the help of another visitor. Eventually one (extremely surly) staff member with poor attitude opened the door and dismissively pointed to envelopes containing the room keys before disappearing in a cloud of disinterest without providing the front door key code which the other guest had been provided with. The experience was unwelcoming and disconcerting and gave a poor impression of what by the following morning had been an ok experience."

"A simply wonderful stay in a most beautiful location. The tranquility, stunning views and super pool allowed us to completely relax. The short walk through the countryside into Agonac enabled us not to use transport everyday & the added benefit of the rail station was another plus. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Lauren discreet yet there if we needed him and Collette a phone call away. We would absolutely love to return next year. "The hotel islocated in an old abbey but the inside apartments are modern, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and supplies are perfect for a simple meal and breakfast to save money if on a budget. The bathroom was spacious for European standards and the bed very comfortable. "
