Beautiful property and cabin. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We'll be returning for our vacations in the future! The patio has the perfect ridge/valley view that has a beautiful night sky view with plenty of stars. You might be able to see the milky way from here!
The cabin is so beautiful when you drive up, and was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable! We had to cut our trip one day short, but enjoyed our short stay!
We loved this cabin! It was very secluded and quite which is what we wanted. Being that it’s off the grid I worried about water pressure but we had plenty of hot water and pressure. We will definitely go back to this place!
This little cabin is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty of Arkansas. The back deck/view is spectacular and the cabin had everything we needed. It does take a bit longer to drive in/out so plan accordingly and just enjoy the ride because the reward is worth it!
Beautiful cabin with all the amenities for our stay. The drive in and out was very peaceful. Every time we encountered deer crossing. The view is spectacular. Our first night, we had a pretty good thunderstorm but the lightning strikes across the sky were beautiful! Sondria was a great host and very helpful with any questions that we had. Hope to return soon!
My wife and I had an excellent time unwinding, stargazing and sitting by a fire. Our rat terrier dog named Luna had a good time hiking and running free in the big yard. We will be back again and we will tell our friends about the cabin.
What a wonderful place. It is extremely secluded. If you need a getaway, and I mean a getaway from everything, this is the place you’d want to choose. The views are fantastic. They have great wifi, also. So many great things to do nearby.
Important info: the cabin is 20 minutes from the main highway. You will be going down some rocky dirt roads, extremely well maintained. If you go during or after a very hard rain, I suggest not attempting these roads in a small car, or low riding vehicle.
Other than that, my husband and I are already planning to return in the spring or summer!!!
We had a wonderful time. Its beautiful, clean and all you would need. Very peaceful and very secluded. I just wish we had a better view of the sunset or sunrise.
The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The water is amazing and the cabin is very private. We enjoyed coffee in the morning, while sitting on the back deck, enjoying the views. Saw occasional deer! Highly recommend as a get away for 2!
We stayed here three nights. The cabin was very clean. The communication with the owner was quick, and she was always helpful. Luckily I spoke to her before our arrival to get the door code. VRBO never sent it, but I had spotty service there, and may not have been able to open an email, even if they had sent one.
There were a few things to make people aware of, however. There is no regular coffee maker, only a kuerig. So we were forced to go find some k-cups, no big deal, I just wish we would have known. There’s also no microwave or tea pot. So making things like oatmeal or popcorn becomes difficult or impossible. The owners recommend you bring your own drinking water, but nobody told us that until we read the book inside the cabin.
Also, if you don’t have an all wheel drive vehicle, this property might be inaccessible. It’s three miles down a dirt and gravel road, with steep inclines in certain areas. Some parts have been back filled with LARGE sized gravel rocks. It’s not ideal in a small vehicle.
It was super secluded and peaceful. The view is amazing. We enjoyed our stay. We liked being cut off from the world for a few days. There are some good DVDs provided, as well as snacks and toiletries. It was a really nice touch!
