A great experience
"Jose is a great host, anytime we needed anything he was responsive and had a solution. The property is clean, comfortable and it was perfect for my husband and I. you get a view of the river and you also get a view of a sky full of stars at night. Definitely recommend having a vehicle if you stay ..."

We have been in Jarabacoa before but it was our first time in La Confluencia which is nearly 15 minutes by car, before reaching Jarabacoa. For me it was surprising to see the growth this nearby town has achieved.

On your way in or out, be sure to stop by the many stands lined up along the roads selling arepa. You can get it elsewhere in the DR, but it’s customary to get it in Jarabacoa.
