"This property resonated with the old German charm I was hoping to encounter during our summer trip to Germany! The rooms were all different and comfortable, and the dining room and great hall / game room areas were perfect for our group of 13 to hang out and have a few drinks while the kids playing a couple of games of pool. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön mit einer preislich gehobenen Küche wobei man aber auch bedenken muss, ob man bereit ist, für winzige Portionen diese Preise zu bezahlen. Mir kam es zu übertrieben vor auch wenn die Qualität gestimmt hat. Als Gastgeber würde ich mir die Besucher die eben genau aus diesen Gründen nicht im Hause Essen, nicht entgehen lassen wollen. "

"What a crazy funny hotel! We wanted a little break from Berlin, something close and unique. The grounds were interesting to wander, and the pool was spacious and peaceful. The rooms were a bit small and room service was limited to only 4 items plus LOTS of alcohol. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed our stay!"
