I am writing to share some concerns about my recent experience at the SpringHill Suites in Jacksonville, Florida, located at 13550 Airport Court. While your staff, particularly Joyce (manager) and Jason (maintenance), were friendly, helpful, and professional, my overall experience fell short of the high standards I expect from Marriott.
During my stay, I, along with my wife—who is handicapped—and my adult daughter, were in town to attend to a family member in hospice. Upon checking in, we were assigned to room 406 but had to switch rooms due to a malfunctioning television. Jason, a very professional and knowledgeable staff member, came to assist, but the brand-new TV was unfortunately not working. We requested a different room and were moved to a handicap-accessible room, which was a welcome solution. The service we received during this process was exemplary.
However, upon entering our new room, we discovered that the refrigerator was also malfunctioning. Another maintenance professional came to address this issue and kindly swapped out the fridge, moving the one from room 406 to room 407 since it was late in the evening.
