"Wonderful quiet area and beautiful scenery. Great view of the ocean plus a really short walk to the beach. Cute beach cottage. My son and his family stayed as we overflowed this year. Kellie was very accommodating and allows dogs which is great! She gets back to you quickly with any concerns or questions. It was a really great location and stay. Had just the right amount of room for my son and his family . Thx Kellie for being a great host! Back in Minnesota now oddly warm but no ocean. "

"The house was splendid for our family. We had five adults, a 12 year old, and a 7 year old. We had plenty of room, the mutual space was great. Two full bathrooms, nice kitchen, comfy living room. I would have liked more towels, toilet paper, etc. We only got one towel per person, and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. For a 5 day stay it would have been helpful to have more. "Really enjoyed our stay. Hubby and I stayed 5 days with our two little dogs. Everyone enjoyed the Cozy Cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked and the host was very accommodating. "We had some maintenance issues pop up with the house this time but the property managers were extremely responsive and prompt in fixing them. The house is lovely and well-stocked with everything needed for a week away. I loved it that management gave us extra towels when we needed them. The golf cart is fun and makes getting to the beach a breeze. Our family enjoyed the board games. One request: please get a pool heater :)"

"This house is perfect and so is the location on Top Sail/Surf City. The house was newly renovated so it was clean and fresh. The rooms sizes were great for us and our guests. The beach is literally steps away from the deck. Everything about this house, this city/town and our stay was perfect. I hope this place remains a little hidden gem! Highly recommended!"

"If you are out to enjoy a good neighborhood and outdoor activities,- it is a perfect spot to be! House interior and study of supplies were very lovely. Unfortunately, we vacationed at the property at the hurricane time and mostly stayed inside. Strong smell of the mold was unevitable."

"The house is very clean and awesome and very well stocked! I loved the large open-floor plan and the two patios (one screened and one open) right on the waterfront! We spent 10 nights there and hated to leave! The owners are awesome and very easy to work with! I'd recommend this cozy cottage to all my friends who are traveling to New Bern! The sunsets and beautiful and the view is absolutely amazing!"

"My husband and I took an impromptu vacation during the off season and wound up in Topsail Island. The suite was spacious and clean. Not sure what it’s like during peak season but I definitely recommend Saltwater Suites. They have bikes you can check out and explore the island. There is a great NY deli on the island that makes a great breakfast sandwich. All in all would recommend. "

"Perfect location, can’t get any closer to the beach. Nice and quiet. House was very clean and up to date. Was exactly as pictured in the listing. Only incredibly minor complaint was that the smoke alarm is super sensitive and went off every time we used the oven. Better to work than not at all though! Definitely will be coming back. "
