"Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware...

"In a stunning setting we had a brilliantly chilled out week here . We spent our time relaxing by the well maintained pool or venturing out to El Torcal and also the dolmens de Antequera . We would definitely come back ."

"My family of 5 young adults and three adults stayed for a week at this beautiful home. It was spotlessly clean, the pool was amazing and perfect with the views, the house is well stocked and our host Juan Carlos and his family were wonderful. Very thoughtful and kind and helped us with all kinds of local insights. We all highly recommend this home. There is a lot to see and do in the towns and area nearby. We loved our stay."

"Fantastic house, very easy trip from Málaga Airport. Beautiful views, superb pool, really huge. This rustic, traditional house was perfect,we had such a great time. "Well were to start! Firstly Lisa and Nigel are THE MOST helpful hosts we have EVER had the pleasure to meet whilst on holiday in a villa! Nothing was ever to much trouble. They organised restaurants for a lovely meal , booked us coaches for days/nights out, organised takeaways, which is a MUST the food was to die for we ordered it two nights and recommended to visit Iznajar Lake and beach which was AMAZING!!👍 The little pub up the hill they told us to try out was also a hit, Pepe and Higieno...

"Absolutely superb villa with attention given to every detail. Spotlessly clean and Richard and Jo really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable holiday. The track to the villa, as described, is narrow and steep in places, but is perfectly do-able and gets easier each time.
