"Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time."

"Unfortunately, the house is in complete disrepair, not maintained and dirty. The mattresses are like sleeping on wood. The lawn and patio had not been mowed or weeded for at least a month. The owner did respond immediately to questions or issues that arose. The view is amazing."

Instructed to only use the front entrance, back access was for staff only to camp laundry. Entrance hall light did not work. A/C was turned down to 13C - to mask smoke smell. Sent text re no TV or kitchen linens, reply to provide in morning. TV not fixed. Cottage structure was satisfactory but very dusty & dirty. All...

"We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

"Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!"

"The place is exactly as shown. Muskoka chairs are in excellent condition by the fire. Kayaks are almost new and the large inventory of life jackets means everyone can enjoy the water. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, coffee and coffee machine, laundry equipment are all in excellent condition."

"My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cranberry Lake. The property was complete..tons of games, activities, toys, waterfront equipment…anything you could possibly want or need. The house and kitchen the same. Only problem…the mosquitos! Many thanks."

"We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"The only issue was the wi-fi. It was so slow and practically useless. One other issue was that the cottage was a part of 4 other cottages which shared a common dock and access to the river, it was not mentioned in the listing. The cottage was clean and very well equipped, and the owner was very friendly."

"Sprawling and fascinating house full of lovely furniture and objects, so well equipped for vacationers with many lovingly constructed inside and outside spaces. The kitchen was lovely and very well equipped, and the dishwasher worked well though it was very tiny so we had to run it after every meal. The very long catwalk to the dock and gazebo is just remarkable, lit at night with tiny string lights there. Two kayaks and two paddleboards were fun in the water. With the air conditioning on...

"Our favourite Canadian experience yet. A last minute booking as we started to get tired on our drive, the owners responded to our email promptly and gave us self check in instructions. The room was spotless and silent, shower amazing and the bed was our best nights sleep! The breakfast is just brilliant, we had been in Canada for 4 days and not had a single good breakfast so we were so grateful for such a wonderful fresh spread and wonderful hosts. We’ve already said we will definitely come back. Thank you so much."

"Our two night stay at The Bulloch House in July was glorious. It is a beautiful old property with some amazing antiques throughout. The room was unique with awesome decorations and a great balcony to relax on. Breakfast was incredible. We came to the area to tour the 1000 islands. This was the perfect location to catch the ferry on a cruise. The town itself is cute and has some wonderful places to eat. I would highly recommend staying here! "
