I was on the phone with my Amex to prove to them that the charges went through and they refused me saying loudly that the transaction failed twice. I was displeased with the front desk all together. "The Harbor Front is a lovely small hotel in the beautiful village of Greenport, the site of a Bohacks Grocery store in the 50' s and 60's. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. The young man provided menus for restaurants we were interested in checking out. He gave us an upgraded room- well for $30 extra dollars per night- not a problem and we were happy to have a cozy balcony a partial view of Greenport Harbor and escape the exposure to car exhaust with a first floor room.
