"This is a beautiful home in a very private neighborhood. The photos do not do this home justice; it is much more elegant, clean, and well-situated than a picture can capture. I will say you do need a car. While there are advantages to staying outside of Madrid (about 1.15 hours) for access to the nearby supermarket and restaurants, one needs a vehicle despite the short distance. "Spacious apartment located in ideal position to see the old town. Stayed on 5th floor, lift goes to 4th floor then flight of stairs to apartment and roof terrace. Living area had a raised platform with two steps to reach sofa and coffee table, so this apartment would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues. "The hotel was immaculately clean. The lobby had a room area with comfortable lounging couches and chairs. The lemon water and fun little marshmallow candies were a nice touch. Our rooms were relatively simple and comfortable and warm. Good showers and the room service for cleaning was the best I have ever had in a hotel experience."

One of the best hotels in Avila

"This hotel is very well presented. The decor is lovely and the way they have fest the rooms is very impressive with exposed walls and roof beams. Not very many of the staff speak fluent English but they try hard and the reception always has a fluent English speaker. Anyway it was good for me to practice my Spanish."
