"Some things to consider: Bed cubicles are cozy and private. Building is quiet. Only one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, two sinks) for men. Double that for women, as they are allowed to use the "men" bathroom also. Staff did not speak much English. About 15 minutes walk to Hakata, the closest subway/train station. Payment at the hostel is cash only. Check in required before 8 pm without previous arrangement for late arrival."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Itoshima is a beautiful place to visit. This hostel had everything I needed and the host, Taka-san is incredibly helpful and kind. He had helped me bring my luggage to Yamato to send to my next hotel. This hostel also attracts some interesting and fun people that enjoy nature! Would definitely return if I get the opportunity! "

"Host was completely gracious and accommodating, and incredibly kind. Location is a touch remote if you're unused to walking, but the Host can give you a ride free of charge. The views from the hostel are breathtaking, particularly at morning and the in the evenings, and the quiet at night is serene. I cannot recommend this place enough, I plan on going back myself. The only possible complaint I have, is that it gets fairly chilly in the winter-but that's easy to compensate for. Please visit!"

"The space is pretty small for 6-people room, way more smaller. It is like the smaller version of college dormitory. But it's sufficient if you're not in a hurry. Plus, its location is very close to Tenjin station. And considering the price, it's decent enough. The owner/staff (I've only seen one, not sure) of the hotel is responsive and nice.
