"Really liked many aspects of this hotel. I was there in the winter for a visit to one of the many yards that calls Makkum home. Restaurant and service was two highlights and the view from the room was great. Bed and bedding, not so much, the team would need to switch things up for me to sleep well with both feeling dated and bedding not fitting well to the bed. "

Shower opens directly into the bedroom area, and the sink unit is also in the bedroom area too. Although not a big problem on this occasion would prefer a 'traditional' bathroom with the shower and sink unit out of site of the sleeping area. "The hotel has been a family business for 60plus years and it shows jn the personal care and attention to detail. Customer satisfaction is the aim of the owners/managers. For an economical rate this is the place to stay in Leeuwarden!"
