Having stayed at other Ramada hotels around the world I expected a certain level of service. Sadly, it was terrible from the moment we set foot on this hotel. The hotel Manager had a terrible disposition from the minute I spoke with him at check in. I had our reservation number, but I had noted the wrong address on my itinerary. That was my mistake, I know. However, he did not bother to look up the reservation number and simply called a taxi. I told him I did not want a taxi and he insisted the taxi was already on the way. The taxi driver quoted us double the price of the Uber. I believe the Hotel Manager was in on this. It turned out we did go to the right hotel and we had to return.
The remainder of our stay was as bad as the initial check in. Th hotel Manager was dismissive and ignored our requests every time. We tried to avoid interacting with him, but he instructed other staff not to talk to us. So, we were forced to go through him. One day we asked for directions to the ferry and he literally let out a big sigh and slumped his shoulders as he gave us directions. It felt like we had just asked a teenager to clean their room. Basic necessities in the room had to be called and asked for daily and hours would pass until we got them delivered. Avoid this hotel!
