I stayed in the business suite which was comfortable and clean. I received the complimentary transfer which was convenient and great. Checked in early which was smooth which helpful staff. The biggest let down was the half board element. Although excited to receive a 3 course dinner with drinks included, the food left a lot to be desired. Although there were lots of options which could be made gluten free as requested, was given the blandest fish and steamed vegetables with absolutely no flavour. The food was cold and when asked for it to be warmed, it was returned rock hard and inedible. The head waiter was very kind and when he saw my disappointment, offered to bring me fruit to my room which he did. But I’d lost my appetite. Breakfast was no better. I had an early flight so was told could go 15 minutes early. The chef on the omelette station reacted as if it was too much trouble to make me an omelette, looking at his watch and sighing annoyingly. He rang the bell for me to come collect when cooked. So moody, no smile when thanked. I asked for some chilli to which he gestured for me to go elsewhere even though it was right in front of him. I asked again and he threw some on my plate with another annoyed sigh. He should definitely not be working with guests if he hates it so much. Altogether was an Okay stay but left feeling rather disappointed.
