"This bright, well lit, and well equipped apartment uses the available space wisely. Lots of light from big windows, kitchen big enough for small table to eat, small desk in living room and ample closet space! Somewhat noisy at night due to inner court yard and strangers ringing door bell excessively one night. Can be a shoddy neighborhood at night, but no problem during daylight hours. Automatic electric locking system at apartment door can be disconcerting but is most certainly secure!...

"Begona’s Apartment is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It had everything that a traveller needs and more. The view from the lounge through the centre of Bilbao to the hills behind was spectacular. Begona was a super host, very communicative and just so helpful and her black book full of great recommendations of services, super markets, restaurants things to do, all close by. There is no better place to stay than Begona’s The only downside was we didn’t have more time!! Thanks so much...

"Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung und Umgebung war sehr schön. Wir haben die Natur und herrliche Atlantikluft sehr genossen. Es hat uns nur das kleine und sehr enge, offensichtlich noch nicht renovierte Bad, mit Sitzbadewanne als Dusche, in unserem "Wohlbefinden" beeinträchtigt. Allerdings war die Sicht auf den Hafen und den Atlantik einmalig schön. Es war insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt."

"We chose this as a mid spot to access San Sebatian and Bilbao which it was good for. Lots of space but there was no wifi which came as quite a surprise. You really need a car to get anything or go anywhere. The train is right there but very long rides. Lots of windows but had to have all the blinds shut for privacy. Kitchen was missing a few important things but host was quick to help."

"We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. "This was a highly functional suite with 2 TV’s, European refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, cooktop, etc. the grocery store is<2 blocks away. Front desk is not staffed 7x24, but they ordered us a cab for non-staffed hours, and it arrived right on time. Very neat and clean. Trendy contemporary decor. We would go there again. There is dining nearby, but it is better about a 10 minute walk to the old city"
