Long View is exceptional in it's location and in it's presentation.
Built to enhance comfort throughout, with a large social area in the open plan kitchen/living/ dining area, a great layout for entertaining.
2 king bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom ( 2 single beds). 3 shower rooms.
A study with spectacular views is located in the middle of the upstairs of the house. A fairly unique feature in a holiday home.
Fully functional kitchen.
Incredible views from every room looking out over the 3 islands to the west of Waternish and further.
The property is in a dark skies area,so star gazing when the weather is clear is awe inspiring.
A real treat, not to be missed.

Beautiful property
We loved the views, the layout of the house, all the natural light and space, the stocked kitchen, the mud room, and the separate washer and dryer. We all slept peacefully and enjoyed cooking and relaxing here. We want to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic!!
Long View exceeded our expectations. This property and location had it all. Immaculate and well curated accommodation with spectacular views and lovely walks. Be sure to check out the Stein Inn and Loch Bay restaurant just a stones throw away. I highly recommend this wonderful property!

Awesome Solitude
The pictures of the property don't do it justice. Not only was the home immaculate and beautiful inside, the sweeping views just added to the whole peaceful experience. Hosts responded to quickly to enquiries making this the perfect ending to our family Scotland tour.

This is a beautifully situated home with many amenities. The peninsula has a lot to offer with artists and a cafe within walking distance. There is, however, a CO2 detector in the master suite that beeps every five seconds nonstop.

Slice of Heaven
We only stayed 3 days and wished we could stay for 3 weeks! Stunning water views and a beautiful home. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Nothing like a hot shower and a cozy sofa after a long day of hiking! We also enjoyed our neighbors! Sheep, deer, bunnies, friendly cats, cows, chickens, roosters and a variety of birds! The best Skye has to offer!

Wonderful accommodation on the edge of the world
The house in Waternish is amazing! The picture window views out to the view across the water are STUNNING! The house is perfect with everything you need for a stay off the grid and away from it all - log burner with a large TV, bookcase full of books - highly recommend and will definitely be back when we come back to the Isle of Skye!

Amazing Stay
We enjoyed this stay so much that it redefined some of our life goals. The home was amazing and the views were absolutely stunning. The home is immaculately clean and very comfortable, equipped with everything you could need and the accompanying tablet in the home has informative videos to show you how to use all the features. Long View is amazing inside but the real stunner is definitely the views!! Wow!! Could not get over the beauty outside of ALL the windows that face the water (and most of them do!) If you want to stay someplace on Isle of Skye that will take your breath away this is it! We cannot wait to return!

Family reunion in Skye
We loved Long View, what a beautiful home! So comfortable and well equipped, such amazing location, could not have been more perfect. We cooked together, took walks and went on outings together, and this home house accommodated both private time for each couple as well as plenty of space for shared time. We met local Waternish folks and loved watching as new lambs were born every day! We will all treasure our time together in this gorgeous home. Thanks to our hosts for providing absolutely everything needed for our comfort and enjoyment.

Longview Xmas & Hogmanay
Beautifully presented house with tasteful decoration, lots of space and in general good facilities. We had a wonderful x2 weeks in Longview over Christmas and Hogmanay enjoying the amazing views over the Minch when we weren't out walking the hills. unfortunately when we arrived the satellite TV and remote control wasn't working properly. Our attempts to communicate with agency managing the property were problematic and in the end we just gave up. The shelves in the fridge door were cracked and broken. The only way to make them usable was duct tape. Having x3 ensuite bathrooms is fabulous - they go great with the fluffy towels provided. Just weird that no bath mats were available! In reality these are not major things. The house is really nice and we made allowances for things being fixed given it was Christmas. However at this price range you expect things to be pretty much perfect going. Especially as one assumes all of the above were obvious issues to anyone.
