Family Friendly Cottage with Lg screen porch - 100 Ft of Direct Beach Access!

Our home has central heat and air with ceiling fans in every room. It has a king bed in the master bedroom, queen beds in the other two bedrooms with additional sleeping on a full size futon in the living area. The sun room and living room are separate and allow for those who may wish to read or visit while others watch the 50 inch tv in the sun room. The extra large screen porch offers comfortable seating for 8 and is the perfect place to enjoy a good book, great conversations or just to relax after a day on the beach or site seeing. Visitors to our home have given the porch a 5 star rating.

The house is located in a quiet part of the island and offers a wide uncrowded beach. And you are only a short drive away from award winning Charleston and Mt Pleasant.

For your convenience an outdoor shower has hot and cold water.

For families with children the Recreation Center on the island is a must. Full equipped playground, basket ball courts, tennis courts.

Kitchen towels are provided. Linens and bath towels are not provided.You may order these linens from IOP Cleaning & Mgt Co. Make sure you call ahead so they will have them delivered before your arrival.

Beach getaway
This adorable beach retreat had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation at the beach. Just steps to the beach and well-equipped for a day on the beach. Even wagons to haul all the chairs and games supplied.

Family beach getaway
This was the perfect house for a much needed family getaway to the beach. We had our two adult sons and their girlfriends with us for the week. The house was roomy enough for the six of us, with plenty of places to relax, a beautiful yard, and was right across the road from a public beach access, which allowed us to run back and forth to the beach all day. Great house and great stay!

Wonderful beach vacation

A perfect retrear
I love this property, having stayed there multiple times and already booked my next stay. Such a comfortable beach cottage with all the touches of home. I love the porch, where I enjoyed breakfast each morning. Lovely landscaped garden. Just steps away from beach access yet on a quiet street. An easy walk to the marina too. Great property owner—very responsive and caring. Highly recommended!

Worked great for our family - peaceful, clean and so close to the beach!
We loved the location, trees, screened in porch and location. We had grandparents, kids and grandkids all together here everyone had a place to be comfortable. Also super close to Wild Dunes for the wedding we were attending. Betty was a Great Host! The house has a cozy feel and was very clean.

My family and I throughly our stay! The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need to prepare a meal or bake . I was able to prepare meals with ease The property inside and out is well maintained. Great location
We brought our three screen zombies here and had a great “unplugged” week together. The beach is such a short walk from the house, and the beach equipment provided by the owner made it extra fun. When not at the beach we enjoyed playing croquet in the backyard and sitting out on the large screened porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Rental on IOP
For a variety of reasons, this is hands down the best rental on IOP. Ample space for an adults only or family friendly getaway. This beach cottage, actively managed by the actual owner, is THE epitome of value for your dollar. Been coming to IOP for 15 years. In the beginning, we were 2 or 3 families and we did the big house on the beach. Now the kids are grown and we return every year for an adults only getaway. This property has everything you need. 3 good size bedrooms. An awesome screen room that catches the perfect breeze. And the location, steps to the beach but a block off the main road, is ideal All this at a reasonable price. Cannot be beat on IOP

Fantastic stay and beautiful home!
The host Betty was wonderful and answered all our questions promptly. The home is charming , very clean, plenty of space, and equipped with beach supplies for the short walk to the gorgeous beach. Wonderful beach retreat
We had a wonderful time at this home! The house was clean, welcoming and the perfect size for our small family of 4. The proximity to the beach was amazing! We were able to set up early each morning and come and go as needed throughout the day. The screened in porch was a big hit with extended family that came to visit. The screened in porch was great to enjoy the outdoors free from mosquitoes. It was a great week!

Peaceful, Clean and Convenient
I was in the IOP on a three generation trip with my mom and 21 year old daughter and we all thought this cottage was absolutely wonderful. Even after reading all the reviews, I was shocked at how convenient the beach access is to the cottage. You can see the beach access from the beautiful screened in porch! The cottage is fully equipped with beach towels and chairs, full kitchen, outdoor shower, etc. We would love to stay there again!!

Isle of Palms vacation
My mother and I had a wonderful stay at your home! She had not seen the ocean in 10 years and this was the perfect getaway! My mother has some mobility issues so the one level layout of your home was great for her. We cooked some marvelous meals thanks to the kitchen. Fantastic proximity to beach access. Will recommend this property to others. Thank you again for everything!

First time on Isle of Palms
The inside of house is well organized and as advertised. Has plenty of everything for eating at the house and is slightly over a block from a wonderful sand beach and an easy walk. The shed contains beach chairs and other items for a nice day at the beach and a cart for hauling. Did not find a beach umbrella but those are available for rent. Would stay there again. Lots to do in the area.

The perfect island oasis
This is my 4th or 5th stay at this property, which I fall more in love with each visit. The ease of beach access for sunrise and sunset walks cannot be beat! The house is so comfortable—especially the porch, where I enjoyed breakfast and savored my morning tea each day. Well-stocked kitchen, quiet—just a perfect island oasis. Even had egrets, hawks and other birds enjoying the natural trees and garden. Property manager Betty is so lovely and responsive to any question. Highly recommend (except for the weeks we want to stay here again)!! 😊

Betty's house is so beautiful, and the porch is fabulous! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied with everything anyone could want or need, and the living area is big with very comfortable and well maintained furniture. Betty has done a great job updating the house and bathrooms with tile and granite, and the beach chairs, umbrella, wagons, and beach toys were greatly appreciated and in good condition. My daughter, grandson, and I loved this house and location to the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we felt it was our own private paradise since there were very few people anywhere near us. It seemed to me that this is a neighborhood of more full time residents rather than rentals because the beach was never crowded, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I give this house and area the highest rating possible in every way and will definitely stay here when we come back to the Isle of Palms.

Amazing Property
We have been vacationing on the Isle of Palms for more than a decade. Usually, we do a week in the summer with the kids and other families. This fall it was just me and the wife. This property is absolutely amazing value, in a great location, with fantastic owner. Fair warning, if you’re looking for a brand new mega mansion, which are plentiful in this town, this is not it. This is a true beach home. However, it is so well maintained and well stocked that you would think it was a 5 star resort. When I say well maintained, I mean you can tell it was freshly painted, everything worked properly, and you can see the owners put a lot of thought into its care and upkeep. When I say well stocked, I mean there wasn’t an appliance, kitchen gadget, pot, pan, utensil that was not provided. If you need them, there are multiple slow cookers. Waffle makers. Several different kinds of coffee makers (instant like a Keurig and drip). Every condiment you could think of was in the drawers. Beach chairs, puzzles, umbrellas, an outdoor shower, internet, large screen tvs., the list goes on . The highlight of the property is the proximity to the beach and the awesome screened porch. You cannot go wrong staying herein.
