"My party stayed at the other side of Loch Awe a couple of years ago and were keen to return to the area. Decided on Dalavich after driving past the village previously. The cabin is in a great location with amazing views. Not too far from the loch. The cabin was clean and functional. Great size for the 4 of us. "What an amazing corner of the world. Very remote, peaceful and quiet. The hiking was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed once we had our kitchen stocked with food. My only advice is that it would be nice to know before arrival that the nearest grocery store is 90 minutes away. We could have shopped ahead of time and saved a 3 hour round trip to Oban. Thank you Allan for a clean modern cabin for 9 days....."

"A perfect little weekend 3 night stay with my wife, our 3 boys and 2 dogs. The cabin was spotless, wonderfully cosy and rustic. The weather was appauling, windy and raining non-stop for the whole weekend, but it was the perfect little bolt hole to feel safe from the elements inside by the roaring wood burner. Will certainly return again soon. Highly recommended!"

"The Cabin itself is a small cozy place to stay, clean and tidy however it smelled a little dusty at arrival; easily solved with opening the deck door. The deck door is a little grumpy and sometimes requires some force to close. We enjoyed seeing a red squirrel visit us every morning :) The bathroom was very big and spacious, the shower was large but water pressure was poor. the shower didn't drain well and was prone to getting dirty easily and hard to clean. "The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery."
