"I absolutely loved our stay! It was very comfortable and felt like home. The only thing I could not figure out was the heater/towel rack in the bathroom was not turning on. There was fresh milk in the fridge for coffee or tea (both were provided with sugar) and biscuits (cookies). The kitchen was stocked with plates, pots and pans, utensils, everything we needed to prepare and eat a meal. Each room has its own bathroom, which is great when you have teenagers. "Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."

"A newly renovated property situated in a small village offering comfort and welcome for our family holiday. A spacious and well stocked kitchen with good amenities. The garden and patio area were perfect for evening drinks and dining with comfortable patio furniture. The house contained all we needed for an excellent week and is close to many attractions and within easy reach of beaches."

Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a great local cafe for brunch. We could keep going with the positives! Alistair and Julie were very attentive and lovely hosts. Highly recommended. "

"As shown by the 5 stars ratings, we were pleased to stay at Barrow Barn and enjoyed our time there. Just 2 matters to comment upon - 1) The caddy marked coffee contained self-raising flour. 2) After the first day the TV signal for BBC was extremely poor and unwatchable."

I would like to point out, bedroom two is separated from the room by a curtain, it wasn't a problem. I love the garden made me feel home from home, it a place to relax. Communication was excellent."
