"We went for a “sisters night” & everything was wonderful! I lost my phone while brining our luggage in & staff contacted security right away & helped me locate it! Our dinner at 1991 was AMAZING! I had the walley dinner & it did not disappoint. Room was clean. Can’t wait to return!"

"Quick overnight stay over New Years... used to rest our head after the evening's festivities. Guest Services staff were great-- contacted me ahead with check in information and provided a number should we need anything during our stay; also worked with us on a late check out which was appreciated! Space was quiet, clean, and prepped for us without issue. Had hopes for more comfortable pillows...a minor thing in the grand scheme of things. It wouldn't deter us from booking another stay at Appledoorn's. Only other MINOR issue was the TV-- volume was hard to maneuver to a quiet viewing level. Even at level 3 is was loud, and level 2 shut the volume off without muting. TV clarity and access to channels were both great. Again, not enough to deter us, but if you're with a partner that is a light sleeper and you want to watch TV, one of you is going to have difficulties. :) Overall a great stay--positive experience, friendly professional staff, and a clean, welcoming environment. I'm guessing it's a hopping place in the summer months. Would not hesitate to book again."

"Great property for a group of 20! With 4 refrigerators and 3 dishwashers, food storage and cleanup was a breeze! The outdoor space looked like it would be beautiful as well. It was just too cold when we were there. However, we did have a family polar bear plunge! Brrr. Highly recommend this one!!"

"We had 20 family members across three generations spend an early Christmas at the property. The number, variety, and spacing of the rooms were great for such a large and varied group. The kitchen was able to accommodate cooking all of our meals. The teenagers and parents loved the pool table, foosball table, sauna, and pickle ball court. We also enjoyed cross country skiing on the lake (1.5 miles). This was the perfect place for us to all get together for the first time since COVID. We look forward to coming back in the future."
