Serenity by the Sea!! Anglers Reef with Boat Slip Available!!


This beautiful villa is located in the exclusive oceanfront gated community of Angler's Reef in Islamorada at Mile Marker 84 and has access to one of the few privately owned boat slips. The homes boat slip is available for rent for an additional $350/week, paid after booking and gives you access to the deep water channel right in front of the community. The marina is capable of accommodating boats up to 31' in total length.

Angler's reef is a luxury retreat resort framed by mangroves and the clear waters of the Atlantic ocean. The detached villas are set along quaint streets and walking paths, where nothing is more than a few steps from your front door.

The community amenities include a heated pool with outdoor bathrooms. Chaise lounge chairs and tables to sun and relax overlooking the beautiful blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. There are two private beaches just a few short steps from every home that flank the marina and the privately owned boat slip which is available for rent. One beach has water access to launch a kayak or paddle board, which are provided, and the other beach is nestled among the protected mangroves where you can watch the gorgeous sunrise while sitting in an adirondack chair with your morning coffee. The lush landscape surrounds you with amazing palm trees, beautiful bougainvillea and some of the most colorful and gorgeous tropical foliage that only the Florida Keys can offer. The quiet gated community is ideal for families with kids of all ages as there is no road traffic.

Built in 2007, this villa is one of the larger exterior units and has 2 bedrooms located on the 2nd floor, both with private bathrooms. The 1st floor offers a wide open layout with a duel peninsula kitchen centered between dining and living rooms with french doors opening to the back patio. The house has many upgrades, such as stainless appliances, granite counters, rich hardwood floors, crown molding, 3 flat screen TVs, cable & WiFi.
The Islamorada area is world famous for sport fishing and Angler's Reef has deep water boat docks perfectly poised for any aquatic excursion.

The surrounding area has some of the best restaurants in the keys. Such as Lazy Days, Ziggie & Mad Dogs and Chef Michaels- just to name a few. The local watersports are endless and include all types of fishing from charters and boat rentals to jet skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and kite surfing.

Can't say enough good things about Susie's property, Serenity by the Sea! This was our second stay at Serenity and third at Anglers Reef. We spent the week boating, fishing & relaxing in the pool. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a fantastic stay in Islamorada, FL at Angler Reef. Complex was very well maintained and our unit was beautiful. The owners were great to deal with and their unit was very well maintained. We will definitely put this on our list of return places to visit.

Beautiful Community
We stayed at this home and adored the community. The grounds were beautifully maintained, it was safe and the other guests were friendly. The heated pool was amazing and we enjoyed sunrises on the beach. The home, itself, was clean, spacious and included everything we needed. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is noise from the nearby highway, but it did not affect our stay or sleep.

The home was as lovely as the pictures on VRBO. It is very clean and inviting. The fully stocked kitchen was very useful as well as the grill out back. The pool and surroundings were beautiful and well attended. It was a week in paradise.

The house was well furnished with everything you would need to feel like you were at home. It is a great location to easily get to things in all of the Keys. Very nice and well keep gated community. The pool was very nice but the beach wasn’t very good for swimming. There was great communication with the owners of the house and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to stay
My husband and I took my mother and stepdad for a week in the keys. This was the first time for all of us. Would stay here again, the location is great for seeing all of the keys. We went deep sea fishing, rented motorcycles, snorkeling and sandbar and various tours in Key West. Loved the house, it was perfect for two couples, although it would have been better if the twin beds had been pushed together as requested. We purchased wash clothes because there were only two. Overall this was an amazing property, would definitely stay again.

Great experience!
Absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. As two couples traveling together, the two ensuite bedrooms with balconies were perfect for us. The living room and kitchen are roomy and well equipped. We appreciated the quality appliances and cookware. The community is just lovely. The grounds are immaculate and we felt very safe. Everyone we encountered was friendly and the location of Angler's Reef is perfect; there is so much to do nearby. We definitely will return!

Wonderful family fishing trip!
We loved everything about our stay at Angler's Reef # 106! The house was spotless and had everything needed for a week long stay of fishing and fun. The bait freezer really came in handy. The resort is beautifully landscaped and the pool is large with a view of the ocean. It's also chilled or heated depending on the season. The boat basin and dock was perfect for our 26ft boat (31ft is the longest allowed). We had a wonderful vacation at Angler's Reef and can't wait to return!

Comfortable and cozy
Loved the location and easy access to the beautiful pool and ocean. Quiet community. Comfortable master bed. Very clean and nicely decorated. Susie was very quick to respond to me via phone when I couldn’t access my email through VRBO. Our only issues, which aren’t the hosts fault… if you are driving a larger vehicle, the car ports are pretty small and the road noise can be a bit loud at night. The noise didn’t bother me, but my husband is a light sleeper. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again!

Very impressive
I stayed at this home with my wife, son, mom and dad. It did not disappoint. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is even nicer in person. We stayed here for a full week and even rented the boat slip. I highly recommend staying at this home. The communication was excellent and the location can’t be beat, perfectly located centrally to everything you could want or need while in Islamorada. Everything about our stay in this home was amazing and made for a dream vacation. We WILL be returning!

Lovely stay in Islamarada
We had a very nice time in Islamarada at 6 Angler's Reef. The property was just as it appears. There were no surprises. For what it's worth, I thought the best place to eat dinner was Mrs. Mac's because it was the least expensive and the best food, however, Ma's kitchen had the absolute best key lime pie. We ate Key Lime Pie at 10 different restaurants, and Ma's Kitchen far exceeded the others, even the one at Kermits in Key West.

Islamorada Gem
Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful week-long stay at this adorable home. Susie was a great host from start to finish. Communication was easy and check-in/out was a breeze. The house was exactly as advertised (maybe better). The property was clean, beds were comfy, and kitchen was well-stocked. The gated community of Angler's Reef was just lovely. My boys really enjoyed the community pool, I loved the beautifully-landscaped grounds, and my husband loved the easy access to the beach and open water. He rented a paddle kayak for the week and went out fishing every morning - - had a blast! We borrowed the SUPs which are provided by the HOA free of charge and paddled out to the sandbar one evening - - was fabulous. Cannot say enough good things about our stay at #106. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Susie!

Fantastic
This place was PERFECT! No details were missed. I brought several things from home with me not knowing they would be here. I like to clean up each day wherever I am. There were cleaning supplies available, broom, vacuum, etc… hand soap at every sink. The kitchen was very well stocked with sharp knives and plenty of pots, pans, utensils, cups, bowls, plates, and a variety of glasses. There is even a margarita machine! We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. The beds were comfortable. The AC was very cold! The location is great. It is a very short walk to the pool and docks. The noise form the road did not bother us. We used a fan for “white noise” at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and in great conditon
We got exactly what we were expecting....except for the beach. The unit was in great condition with everything we needed except dish clothes! LOL. The beds were great, space very easyfor the 4 of us. We got great use of the washer and dryer. The pool was very clean and well maintained. The beaches unfortunately were not "beaches". Nothing you would swim from at all!. The favorite place by far was Pennekamp Park. Stop at Mrs. Mac's on your way. We did the snorkeling trip there and saw loads of fun stuff...including a bull shark when we first got in the water! We even went back a second time and rented the kyaks for a few hours....really cool to check out the mangroves. All was just as promised and shown for the unit....not always the case! The owners were easy to work with and timely with responses, etc. We would absoltuely stay again!

Lovely Home
My family rented this home for a week in January. The owner responded to my inquiry and (many!) questions promptly. Payment for the unit was fast and secure. We had the damage deposit returned to our account by the time our plane landed back in the Midwest. This was nice, because we have rented from several people in the past that take weeks and reminders to have the damage deposit returned. This is our second visit to Angler's Reef in Islamorada. The first home we had only had the advantage that it was in the first tier and was closer to the pool. When we arrived, we realized this unit was very close to the pool as well. The kitchen was lovely and we cooked two meals a day in the home. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer in the unit to head home with clean clothes. We were most pleased that the home had a pack 'n play for our toddler. That is one of the first things I look for when viewing VRBO, because those with children know that traveling with that item is nearly impossible. The highlight of this condo was that it included two very nice kayaks. We took them out almost daily. The crowd at the resort is very friendly and we look forward to spending a week there again next January!

Perfect getaway..Anglers Reef 106
Stayed here with friends to attend our son's wedding. The house was conveniently located to everything. It was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are amazing. Unfortunately we were so busy with wedding stuff we didn't have time to enjoy the pool or kayaks; however we are planning a trip to come back. We fell in love with Islamorada and Anglers Reef. Check in and check out was easy and Susan was very responsive when I had a question. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Condo in Great Area
Everything was as advertised. This condo is very clean with everything you need for a great vacation. Air conditioning worked great. Appliances we’re all clean and working great too. The owner was very easy to get in touch with and gave us some great tips on local places to help make our vacation that much better. This is the second time I have stayed in Anglers Reef. First time at this property and we have already booked this same unit again for the spring. Highly recommend.
