"This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

" The apartment is only about 50 meters from the beach, so the sound of the waves coming in is very peaceful. The apartment is very poorly equipped. Only one pot and one pan to cook meals with. No cupboards, no dresser. Bed is very comfortable. Deck is very hot during the day, so not really useable. Pool on the roof was nice, as one could sit in it and watch the whales in the bay. Recommended, in spite of the inadequacies."

"Location of the home was within short walking distance to several good restaurants and not far from the centre of Barra, its beach and malecon. Home was secure, clean, beds were comfortable and small pool very welcome on warmer days. Some minor street noise at times was only a minor annoyance. Would stay again."

"The house is lovely with the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had, a stunning domed roof ceiling in the bedroom, good shower, comfortable bed and good internet so ticks lots of boxes. It is on the edge of town and has some industrial neighbours which made it very noisy. Happy folks are working hard but it is something to know about. It’d be best to have a car or rent bicycles if staying here as taxis were hard to come by at least when we were there. The walk into town was about 18 minutes. If...

"We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things. "This was our first visit to Barra and we will definitely be back! Able was very accommodating and the condo was in perfect shape. The location is in the heart of old town and walkable to the Malecon, water taxis and restaurants. It was fairly quiet as it was early in the season but we got to know the locals and everyone is so welcoming. It is a small community that support one another and we felt like a new neighbor. Thank you so much and we look forward to our next visit!"
