"This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"

"Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi was workable. The "curtain" was not as wide as the window, and this should be addressed. Breakfast was adequate. There are plenty of restaurants within a very short walk. I feel that I paid a fair price for our room, and so I would be happy to stay there again."

"We were greeted by name by our hostess, Señora Domitila, as we walked up to Casa de Luna... it is quite a hike from the port with multiple stops to rest due to the altitude. Go straight up and to the right (multiple times) and ask a few people where Casa de la Luna is on the way. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake. Our room was large and comfortable. "While it's a bit of a hike to the property, the hike is well rewarded with views to both the east and the west. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. They hadn't had a guest since the pandemic and understandedly they let their WiFi lapse. The daughter was helpful though providing me with a password to a nearby restaurant."
