Beautiful and cozy place! Stayed with our dog and had a blast! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling in this area!
This location was perfect for our family while visiting for NMU family weekend. Taylor was very responsive to any questions we had prior and during our stay. We would recommend this location.
We had a delightful stay at Taylors home in Ishpeming. It was very clean, light-filled, cozy and so many nice touches. Taylor was very accomodating, kind and communicated promptly. We would definitely stay again!
This was a nice little house situation atop a hill overlooking a beautiful lake. There is a nice park as well as many trails nearby. The yard is not fully enclosed but felt private and had enough room for our dogs to stretch their legs. My only gripe was that the pot coffee maker made weak coffee and the single serve wouldn’t work so I ended up purchasing a moka pot to ensure I could make a decent cup in the mornings. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had mostly everything we needed. We especially loved the antique stores in downtown Ishpeming and all the awesome trails for hiking and biking nearby. We would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is conveniently located for skiing, bowling, and the iron mining museum. The kitchen is very spacious and I appreciated the extra items (condiments, kleenex, enough silverware) that aren't always available.
Husband, grand-dog and I came to visit our son who attends school at Northern. This home is comfy and not really making anything. We felt very much at home.
Very nice old home. Well kept and easy to access. The host was very quick to respond when we were having issues with the app and entry password. ATT is not the best phone service for this area.
Highly recommend this home.
The view from the house was lovely. I could see the water from the front of the house. The home's appliance worked well and I was able to make meals like I was at home. Air conditioning in the main/only bedroom was nice. It stayed cool when I was there and only used it because I could not open the slider at night. There was good communication with the host.
It had just about everything we needed. The freezer door handle had broken so we could not use that. The bathroom is on the second floor so if you having issues going up stairs this would not be for you. Other then that we loved our stay, and the TV even had lots of channels!
Nice house close to my daughter’s place making it super convenient for us to come and go. House was clean and had plenty of supplies. Good sized kitchen and king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and the dual carafe/Keurig machine. TV had tons of channels and there was great wifi service. Stairs may be a bit difficult for some given the only bathroom is upstairs and it’s a bit cramped. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking space for our F250, pretty yard and view. Taylor was super responsive and access to the house was seamless. We enjoyed our stay very much.
This rental was a lovely winter get away for me and my dog in a quiet, private setting. PROS: The home is as shown, a small old house completely renovated and decorated in a modern, minimalistic and comfortable style. Hardwood floors, large windows and modern appliances. King and double beds plus a pull out couch. Manager Taylor responded to all of my questions promptly. CON: Only one bathroom which is located upstairs. That said, I would still recommend this property and I’ll most likely rent again in the summer season just to see what it’s like.
This house was perfect for our Labor Day Weekend stay! We were looking for a good base for day trips to waterfalls and hiking, and this worked out very well. The house is easy to find, and the host did a good job of communicating.
The house has been nicely remodeled, and the brand new refrigerator was installed the day we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was a very hot weekend and we were happy there was an AC unit in the bedroom. The lower half of the house stayed fairly cool with the ceiling fans on.
The only bathroom is upstairs, and is pretty small, but worked fine for what we needed. This would not be a great house for anyone with mobility issues (the stairs are fairly steep and narrow too), but was fine for us (a fairly active couple in our 50's).
My husband loved cooking on the newer grill on the back deck, and we both enjoyed unwinding on the porch after dinner, then watching a few of our shows on the smart TV in the living room.
The driveway/parking spot is up a steep hill behind the house, but once we got the hang of turning around up there it worked well.
I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for something in the area - we would definitely stay here again.
Very nice little place tucked in a quiet area. Easy to get to, but not in a busy section of town. Very clean and had all the things it said it would. I would stay again without hesitation.
