"Really enjoyed our stay thank you. Pleasant welcome from the staff and good facilities. Lovely clean guest house and room. In a great location for the town too. Minor downside is lack of parking (but there are side streets and car parks nearby - it just took us a little while to find one late on a Friday evening). "We wanted to find a pub with good food and close to Rutland waters to go biking. We stayed at the Fox and Hounds in Exton for 2 nights. It is situated next to a beautiful grassy square of big, mature trees. Big, safe parking area. The pub area is gorgeous, lovely big fireplaces, variety of seating. "The room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable and unlike a review I'd read on here (which nearly made me not book this hotel) the King size bed was a full king, not just two singles pushed together. The only small gripe I have is the fridge was quite noisy and was annoying when trying to sleep. Would stay here again for sure. "

"Perfect for dog walking! We stayed for 2 months whilst waiting for our house purchase to finalise. It’s a quirky house and has lots of character. We enjoyed our stay thank you. "
