"I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very basic but clean. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer. ...

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. Be aware of beach salesmen. Would recommend this hotel."

"The place was in complete renovation or reconstruction or whatever... it was not available for any reservation. I don’t know why it’s available on Expedia ! Hopefully, the staff-guy who received me in the middle of the night helped me to find a place (everything was closed). So, I cannot say more about this Guesthouse."

"We rented this property thinking that we were renting the whole house as advertised. It turns out that that this house is a hostel as per the sign out front and we were given one room. After some discussion with the owner we were given three rooms. The owner had not been paid by VRBO and I had paid VRBO one month ahead of time. "We stayed here for three night and had a great time. Friendly staff and helpful pool staff. The breakfast options were amazing. Huge variety to choose from. The only complaint would be the front desk staff were not helpful. Couldn’t answer some of our questions. The bell boys on the other hand were great. Gave us advice on taxis and other questions we had. They seem to know the area well."

Fabulous stay

"Fab, quirky place - each room is very different. Really helpful & friendly staff. Great breakfast, cooked to order and taken by the pool. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Lovely introduction to our first trip to Sri Lanka. Recommend booking their airport pickup - it was nice to know that at the end of a long flight someone would be waiting for us. Would recommend to others coming here."

"We stayed here for 1 night, we arrived at 6 am and our room was booked for the night, but we were lucky and wer able to check in early and get some extra sleep after a long flight. The amenities were amazing, and the staff incredibly kind. Also breakfast was Very good!! I loved that The bed sheets smelled so clean - Everything was Super!"
