"My family and I loved our stay here. Super clean and spacious apartment with terrace where we hung our laundry after washing in the washing machine. Host was very responsive. 15 minute walk from ferry port. Restaurants, grocery and shopping all within a few minutes walk. Perfect and convenient location! Highly recommended!!!"

The apartment was really well designed and furnished. We loved being there and hope to return. My only comments would be the mattress was a little past its best and the kitchen was quite basic . "This was the best place we stayed on our whole island hopping trip. Not only was the hotel in a great location, but just the little details made all the difference. Recyclable toothbrushes and a sewing kit just when I needed to fix something. Extra pillows available in case you can’t sleep with one. Where other places give you the near minimum, the Almira Inn goes that extra mile. Breakfast was lovely too and Calypso the cat was difficult to say goodbye to. If we are ever back in Ios we will...

"WOW! What a fabulous place! Location: perfect, in the middle of the Old Town, close to the ferry (10min walk) and to plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars. The building was completely and tastefully renovated - it's beautiful! My room also had a balcony with a seaview - WOW! Loved it! Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom, and a kitchenette with 2 burners, coffee machine, juicer, and fridge. And a rooftop - with comfortable seating and a view that never ends over the port, the sea, and...

"We got off to a bad start - there was nobody there when we arrived (it was early October). I found the owner's number and rang him, but he didn't seem to know about our booking. He asked what the rate was ihat Expedia had quoted. He then said he would send his father to sort it out. Father arrived (couldn't speak any English). Fortunately my Greek is enough to get by. He showed us a room that was dingy and drab then told us on the phone that we could have a sea view room for an extra 10 euros...

"Excellent well equipped studios. Room was modern with all cooking equipment supplied for self catering options. 10 minute walk to harbour with boat connections and main public bus station. Plenty of eating options and local supermarkets nearby. Daily housekeeping conducted to a high standard. Remember to give an estimated time of arrival ahead of time as there is no front desk and only 10 rooms."
