"Over the top doesn't begin to rate this property....everything we expected and soooo much more! Our hosts were VERY accommodating. We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year. A 5 out 0f 5 rating is a bit low in our books....I prefer to rate as I TRULY see things. This was a belated birthday present from me to m foe my 68th . "The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake...
