About 20 min of rough road going to the cabin. No power uses generator that you have to gas every 10hrs. Wifi is not working. You have to buy fire wood that you have to use for the hot tub or fire place. Price is too expensive and not reasonable for the place with no amenities.

Barn Cabin
This cabin is exactly as described. It was an excellent get away from the city tucked way off on its own. Balance and Danny ensured we had everything needed to make the experience perfect. Highly recommend to anyone.

Clean and Quiet place for a getaway
This place was amazing. Gerard was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything. We went out as a group for a golf trip and this place, all be it a little out of the way, was worth the additional travel time! If we end up back in the invermere area, we would gladly stay here again.

This place is nothing short of AMAZING. Gerard and Caio are the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was everything we imagined. Living in the Woods
A short 15-20 minute drive into the hills beside Invermere you arrive at a secluded property nestled in the middle of the forest. All you need to do is walk out your door and choose a direction to go. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable. It is completely stocked with all the normal day-to-day things one might need. The appliances are clean, modern, and functional. There is also a spacious deck and a large fire pit gathering area right beside the wood-fired hot tub. What are you waiting for ...?

The property and amenities are well appointed and maintained. The owner /operators are a wonderfully delightful couple with big hearts and a generous spirit, we were there for 4 days 3 nights and wish we could have moved in permanently. We would both highly recommend time here.

Can't wait to go back!
Besides Gerard and Caio being wonderful hosts, my scouts, leaders and I had a wonderful stay over the weekend in this cabin. We had everything we needed and more! We had the opportunity to see the area with Gerard as our guide, visited the horses, relaxed inside and made use of the big open space and large table. It was perfect for our 12 person group. Looking forward to our next visit.

The perfect getaway!
This was my second time staying at this beautifully, cozy cabin with a group of friends and I can say with confidence that it won’t be my last! Gerard and Caio continue to be the most gracious hosts and the cabin had everything we needed for an amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. The wood-fire heated hot tub was a treat and taking a stroll through the woods with the snowshoes was a great way to start the morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Perfect venue for our group! Couldn't have asked for more!
It's always a bit nerve wracking arriving to a rental property you book on line, not knowing what to expect and if it will be all you hope it to be. Well in this case, there was not a worry in the world from the moment we were greeted! It was perfect for our group and we couldn't have asked for more! We rented the house for my sisters bachelorette, three day weekend. So much space, amazing amenities and not to mention the outstanding owners who were so accommodating, fun and relaxed. Even the dogs and horses on the property were beautiful! Everyone was so happy and couldn't stop complimenting on the amazing find. I highly recommend this house for groups that are large of any type, a family gathering or to a couple looking for a romantic stay away from it all. I promise you won't be disappointed! Thank you Gerard and Caio for providing such a wonderful property and all you did for us. Will definitely return some day.

Amazing Cabin & Amazing Owners
Can't recommend this cabin enough, Gerard and his family were extremely welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. Tons of things to do in the area and at the cabin. Hot tub, fire pit, big tables, comfy beds, big windows, huge deck, great views, tons of space, to many great things to even list. I hope we get to come back again sometime, and will definitely be recommending to friends!

BOOK. Just book it!! A++
This was my first booking experience with VRBO (or any similar site). We were looking to find a location where all the family could be together for a special family event. We needed beds for 10-12 people (plus allowance for Mom’s three legged dog, Henri!). Correspondence with Gerard the owner, was quick, helpful and professional. And when Gerard heard our stay was to help celebrate Mom’s 75th birthday, he offered to (upon our arrival), bring my Mom to the cabin in a carriage pulled by two of their famous Friesian horses and escorted by some outriders! It was a perfect way to kick off the weekend to celebrate Mom and it was done to such perfection and professionalism, it brought a tear to my eye knowing how much effort and attention they put into making this so special for her! Caio took fabulous photos of the carriage ride all along the route and then put them on a usb card for us as a remembrance before we left. It was amazing! We took advantage of their offer to do some grocery shopping for us ahead of time and that was very helpful. They even made special arrangements for the birthday cake! The Paagman’s are the kind of hosts that want you to feel at home and welcome. And you feel that! Even Henri the dog received a welcome dog chew stick with a bow around it! And the kids brought us a muffin tin filled with freshly baked muffins upon our arrival to the cabin. The young Paagman’s were just as welcoming and kind as their parents. The cabin had a wonderful layout with the main floor perfect for a group to be all-together. That’s where the sitting area, kitchen and long table was located and it was perfect for visiting and/or playing games. The table could sit 12 people very comfortably. The top floor and bottom floors held the bedrooms and washrooms. Lots of windows and natural light throughout and I think every door led to a porch or balcony – even on the top floor! It was a clean cabin with extra comfy beds, pillows and comforters. The cabin itself was made by the Paagman’s and while functional and smartly laid out, holds unique features too. The island in the kitchen was a piece of art! I would book this cabin again in a heartbeat. Not only were the hosts incredible but the cabin was perfectly situated and included wonderful mountain views. Thank you Paagman family for helping us make this such a memorable weekend!

Absolutely stunning property!
It is definitely the best cozy log cabin in the mountains! As I was told before I arrived to the property; the only issue with the place is that you have to leave... and it was so true. Every day that passes we wish we could go back and we will sometime soon. Beyond the cabin it is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever visited. I have to thank Family Paagman, they are a wonderful and beautiful family. They not only made us feel at home, they made our experience more enjoyable than we could have imagined. I would suggest this property to all family and friends! Book it before its too late. Thank you very much! See you soon!
