Nestled on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, Invergordon is a charming town with a rich maritime heritage and a fantastic base for exploring the North Coast 500. Known for its picturesque views, including sightings of oil rigs and cruise ships, Invergordon offers a unique blend of history, nature, and coastal charm.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate being just a 2-minute walk from Invergordon Golf Club, where stunning views and a challenging course await. The town is also well-served by transport links, with train and bus stations just minutes away, providing easy access to the rest of the Highlands.

Invergordon’s town centre offers a range of local shops, cafes, and restaurants, perfect for a leisurely stroll or discovering authentic Scottish cuisine. Nearby, visitors can enjoy the beauty of Cromarty Firth, with opportunities for wildlife watching, and explore historic landmarks like the Invergordon Naval Heritage Centre.

Whether you’re seeking relaxation, outdoor adventure, or a deeper dive into Scotland’s history and culture, Invergordon offers the perfect location to experience the best of the Highlands.

Kavija is conveniently situated at the back of Invergordon town centre, making it an ideal choice for guests travelling by public transport. A bus stop is located on the high street about 15 minutes away, and the train station is just down the hill. The property is in a well-lit area, with surrounding streetlights providing additional security and peace of mind at night.

The private driveway at the front of the property can accommodate one vehicle. For larger vehicles or additional cars, free parking is available on-street. We kindly ask guests to avoid blocking neighbouring driveways to respect the local community.

Kavija is a quaint 2-bedroom house in Invergordon, offering breathtaking views of the Cromarty Firth from the lounge, conservatory, and master bedroom. Guests can enjoy the sight of oil rigs and cruise ships coming into the port, creating a unique and ever-changing backdrop during your stay.

The cosy lounge is the perfect space to relax after a day of exploration, featuring a large L-shaped settee, a smart TV, and a warm electric fireplace. The dining table is also situated in the lounge, allowing you to enjoy meals with a view of the Firth. The kitchen, although compact, is fully equipped with everything you need, including tea, coffee, and sugar, and a coffee machine with accompanying pods. From here, you’ll also have a lovely view of the spacious rear garden.

The house also features a small bathroom with a shower, and a ground-floor bedroom, ideal for guests who prefer to stay downstairs or may have mobility needs.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers a summer house equipped with a tumble dryer for guest use and garden furniture, perfect for soaking up the sun on warmer days.

Kavija strikes the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and scenic beauty, making it an ideal base for exploring Invergordon and the surrounding area.

When travelling to Kavija, we highly recommend researching your public transport routes or ensuring that guests have access to a car.

Unfortunately, Invergordon does not have access to apps such as Lyft or Uber, and our only modes of public transport are Bus (Stagecoach), Train (Scotrail), and the occasional private hire Taxi company.
