"The hostel was very convenient, even more convenient than it looked on the map. There were cafes and chemists within walkign distance and the train & bus stations were a 15 minute walk away. It was lovely to talk with other guests and the staff (shout out to Luna and all the staff for the directions, and friendliness). I booked a private room with ensuite, and am happy to say the shower was very powerful and the room clean and spacious. I would definitely come back."

"The room is very nice but heated up overnight and the controls did not seem to work. The bus service was limited so I had to leave on the first bus to ensure I caught my train. I had been staying in Inverness at a nice B and B earlier for the same cost, very nicely presented, near town and I got breakfast so this had far less going for it."

"The host/hostess extremely friendly. The evening meals superb and took extra note of my diet requirements. My room was fine but no chair or place to hang damp towel to dry out. The room was in an annexe and I had to go outside to access all amenities - lounge, dining room, guests’ kitchen. No kettle in the room so this kitchen was essential for out of hours cuppa. Very minor complaints all forgiven due to service and meals."

"Wow and Excellent. I will be back for sure. Just great. I only stayed here for 1 night but I enjoyed my stay here. It was super friendly, calming and tranquil but very sociable. The people at checkin and checkout we’re great and friendly. The dorms themselves very comfortable. Also the beds have 2 pillows not 1 and this is a bonus. Considering many dorms I stayed have only 1. The views and position of Hostel is remarkable. Just fantastic. The continental breakfast at only £3.50 in the morning...

"Bare basics but clean. Polite and friendly staff. Bunk-beds. Easy walking distance to bus and train station, and to main street. Only slightly further to Erin Court and Botanical Gardens. Stayed Friday - Saturday, noise-level low. Would stay here again."

"It was a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyable. Location, facilities, proximity to Aviemore town centre. Chalet is a bit tired looking internally. It was clean but someone needs to look up and remove cobwebs and dust on light fittings etc. Kitchen really well stocked."
