What sets this apart from many rentals is that it is a beautiful, private mountain home built by my father, a Master Craftsman and woodworker. 12-acre property with/ 1.5 acres of lawns, gardens surrounding the house, and stunning mountain views. Year-round Jacuzzi, hardwood floors & custom woodwork throughout. Large Living room & Library with full wall granite fireplace, picture windows viewing Cathedral Ledge & Moat Mt. Range, four HD flat-screen TVs all Roku equipped, Broadband Wi-Fi, 275 sq. ft. deck & separate screened 3 season porch—Weber grill (Memorial Day through Columbus Day). Hiking & Nordic skiing trails on our 16-acre family conservation easement are accessible directly from the property w/o driving. Home includes first-floor bedroom w/ ADA compliant exterior entrance ramp & customized bathroom & shower. Very family friendly; full-size crib, pack-n-play, high chairs, games & puzzles for all ages. This is not just a vacation property; it is the family home I grew up in. I believe our reviews reflect this. Note: There is a security camera on the driveway as we are set back from the road and nicely secluded, but unfortunately, our calendar online tells the world when there are no guests in residence! Family getaway to Storyland
I recently stayed at this property with my family, a mix of adults and children ages 1-7. We had the best time!! The house was perfect- so much space for everyone to sleep, play etc and everything was very clean. The yard is beautiful and the kids loved running around, exploring and making s’mores! We would definitely visit again.

Perfect house for a two-family vacation!
This beautiful, well-maintained house was even nicer than the listing. All 6 bedrooms were comfortable and functional, with nice beds, clean linens and curtains on windows to prevent early morning toddler wake-ups. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee, pantry essentials, pots and pans, plates and silverware. There was even a sunroom filled with toys that kept the three children under 5 occupied for hours! We stayed here during a heatwave and the air-conditioning plus numerous fans did a great job keeping the house comfortable even in 90 degree heat. The location could not be better - it was an easy drive to Diana's baths for a fun morning "hike" and swim and also an easy drive to Story Land.

Once A Year Is Not Enough!
This is our third year kicking off summer with our kids at the Osgood House. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with warmth and charm. The cozy decor, thoughtful amenities, and impeccable cleanliness instantly put this Type A mom at ease. Every detail, from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds, contribute to a truly relaxing experience that keeps us coming back for more year after year. Mothers Day Weekend Get Away!
We had a wonderful weekend at the Osgood home for a weekend of relaxation on Mothers Day weekend. Great location for us to explore downtown North Conway , the Outlet shops and a trek to Diana's baths. We had planned on taking a walk on the property trail bit found a sign that indicated a Mama Bear and her cubs had been sighted along the trail. We decided to leave her to her mothers day weekend.

Our stay at the Osgood House was excellent. The house was very, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great house. Very clean, beautiful scenery and well appointed. Owner obviously tries to think of everything you'll need, right down to labeled kitchen drawers and extra toiletries in the bathrooms (Having forgotten my toothbrush, it was great to see one provided). We highly enjoyed our stay.

Friends mountain getaway
We are a group of 6 middle aged couples that spent 4 nights in January at this house for the purpose of skiing, hiking, cooking and relaxing. This was our second time here and the location is perfect with Mt Cranmore , Attitash and a few others right nearby. Having the 6 bedrooms was a perfect arrangement for us and there are great common areas for a group to hang out and private places if you needed some alone time. The house was well equipped with cookware and and the table setting allowed all 12 of us to dine together. We loved hanging out around the fireplace and hiking the nature preserve surrounding the house. Small problem with the lock access when we first arrived, but the owner response was quick and the issue resolved. Definitely book to stay at this comfortable and welcoming place; the price is right, the on line description is 100% accurate and don’t forget to pack your bathing suit for the hot tub .

Family Fun in New Hampshire
Although the weather didn’t cooperate for much skiing, we were able to enjoy family time together doing puzzles, relaxing in the hot tub, visiting a number of the North Conway shops and the movie theater. The house and property are beautiful. The location is ideal for skiing and other winter outdoor activities. Neill was an excellent host and made himself available for anything we needed. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful and quiet getaway.

We really enjoyed the property. There was a great deal of nostalgia from the décor, rotary phone, record player, cookbooks from the 30s to the typed, yes from a typewriter, phone list in the kitchen that must have 30 years old. Neill was a great host and we really appreciated him sharing his childhood home with us. The view was wonderful and very peaceful.

Perfect Friends Getaway
What a great house! We are a group of 8 women who have been friends since age 15, and came from TX, OK, MO, WA, KS, and AZ to celebrate our 70th birthdays. Lots of space inside and out. The owner has labeled everything (so appreciated) and the home is well equipped. The hosts are quick to communicate before and during our stay. This felt more like staying in someone's well loved home than a generic rental. Beds and linens comfy, and great views outside from every room. This is a good homebase to daytrip around New England. What a great week we had!

Perfect Location: Amazing Lodging
I booked this home based on location and size. We were a group of 9 CA hikers coming to experience the White Mountains. Based on past experience having lived in NH for 26 years, I knew North Conway would be a zoo over the October holiday weekend, aka time off and peak foliage. Neill's place afforded the gateway I wanted to North-South Road, West Side Road, and Hurricane Mountain Road. And, because of typical uncertain New England weather, he arranged for a wicked early check-in. Amazing!!!!! Their family home afforded substantial acreage. The home is huge and well stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen provisions etc. Neill was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The added plus included an extra small refrigerator and cold room to store food. With 9 hikers, with different dietary needs, this mattered for us. The views from the kitchen table were phenomenal: we constantly jockeyed for chairs that looked out the windows. Any questions and concerns were added immediately. Having spent 26 years in NH and coming back for the first time in a decade, with a group of friends in tow, I was nervous. Coming into Neill's family home turned tension into ease and uncertainty into a familiar sense of knowing. Please keep in mind this is their family home. There are family pictures, knickknacks, etc. His parents built much of the home so it is "dated." And it worked well. Our group valued the opportunity to be part of their story.

10 Ladies came to the area for a weekend away of shopping and laughs. This home provided a great place, space and atmosphere! We will definitely book again. Neill was easy to work with.
