"After checking in we asked the front desk staff to help us with an unusual request and he didn’t hesitate to help us! He was fantastic! Then when checking out, I had multiple questions regarding the fjords, and she answered all of my questions and even looked things up on the computer for me. Very helpful and I appreciated it so much!"

"Stayed 7 nights in April with our son, 7 yo. It’s a ski in and ski out resort. There is a place behind hotel to rent skis if you need and you can get your ski pass online from ski star website which you can reuse in other resorts in Norway and Sweden. It’s such a relaxing place, we slept with windows open it was so quiet. The air was fresh and we also drank the tap water which is recommended. Hotel has plenty for kids: pool, fake surfing wave, bowling, kids play room, pool tables, ice hockey tables and arcade games. We had a car so went to Sweden for a day. The restsraunts are great lots of choice and you never need to be in a line. You can pre book on ski star website. Also there are restaurants on the pistes and they are as delicious and authentic. There is also a shop in the hotel if you forgot any snow gear. Pistes are great, something for everyone. We will be back !!! Thank you Trysil. "

"Brilliant hotel. Perfect to visit Lillehammer. Breakfast was nice and a lovely buffet style evening meal was enough. Really loved coming back in the afternoon after a days walking to free cake and cofffee. The bed was comfy and very clean rooms. "

"Modern, secure, and very convenient for ski groups. The room was not entirely clean when we arrived, nor was cleaning service offered during our stay. There are no receptionists on site."

"Best breakfast during our 2 week nordic Norwegian ski vacation. 1/2 block to train and bus station with the buses that take you to Sjusjoen, Nordseter, Hallinjdal, Mosetrtopen, Skiekampen!!!!"

"We absolutely loved the hotel! The Polish lady at the reception was absolutely lovely and helpful with the restaurant recommendation. We stayed in a Superior twin room and it was much bigger than we expected. The hotel is in a heart of Lillehammer so couldn’t ask for a better location. The breakfast was delicious, so much choice! Freshly made waffles are a must to try as they are absolutely delicious! Having an additional heater in a room was amazing as it was quite cold outside when we stayed. Be will definitely come back. "
