Nice rooms in a beautiful little village
"Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. "The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made ..."

Lovely walk west along the historic River Tweed from Peebles leads to Neidpath Castle. This Castle is still being used as a residence. It's has a long history of seige, bankruptcy, famous visitors, starring in TV and Film and of course inevtable haunting by a young heartbroken maiden.
