"The stay was quite pleasant except for one evening. We had told the owners we were staying with family for a night but plans changed. When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. Other than that, the place was very clean - perfect for 2 people. "

"The house is very beautifull and wel equiped, everything you might possibly need is there. The rooms are even more beautifull than the pictures show. Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. And we received a strange SMS message from the housekeeper that we had to pay 100 euro extra, which was not true..."

Mais ce qui a ajouté au charme de notre vacance a été l'accueil exceptionnel et chaleureux des propriétaires Claudine et Christian, des hôtes remarquables à tous les niveaux. "Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property."

"The renovated farmhouse was perfect for a large group, particularly with the outdoor patio and the ping pong table and foozball table in the barn. It allowed us to be together, but with space to group apart. Claude and Veronique were wonderful. They met us upon arrival and checked in while we were there, providing lots of excellent information."

"Wir waren rundum zufrieden, das Haus hatte alles, was wir brauchten und lag direkt an der Routes des vins. Chatenois ist ein angenehmer kleiner Ort und zentral gelegen, um Ausflüge nach Colmar, Hunawihr, Riquewihr aber auch nach Strasbourg zu unternehmen. Yasmin hat schon vor unserem Aufenthalt alle mails schnellstens beantwortet und die Kommunikation vor Ort hat mit Übersetzungsapp, weil wir kein vernünftiges Französisch spachen oder auf Englisch mit ihrer Tochter, gut geklappt.
