"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

"The house was so beautiful and comfortable. We were transfixed by the views and loved having a fire at night and early morning. The owner left lovely treats for us (salmon, crackers, cheese, eggs, and milk that was unexpected but really appreciated. Location could not be better. I hope we can return some day. "

"From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away.
