We made the booking through Hoseasons and on two occasions we received emails saying your payment has not gone through and the booking was cancelled without any contact with us apart form the email. We struggled to find a phone number to resolve the problem which is still a mystery. Searles provided us with contact number and we were able to book it over the phone. The online booking system was a disaster"

"The house was perfect for our group, 8 adults and 2 10 year olds. Location was super and there was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The little Christmas tree was a lovely touch. A warm and cozy home to return to after some super windy walks along the coast! Would stay again. "

Very good communication between hosts and housekeepers who were on hand to greet us, explain everything and to fix any problems should they arise. Everything thoughtfully prepared for our stay and all bases covered from a well equipped kitchen to a fabulous play area in ample grounds for the children. Our dogs were well accommodated too and having the boot room for drying them off and taking muddy wellies...

"Excellent location and accommodation. Clean and well looked after. Hosts really quick and friendly with replies. Dog friendly with large enclosed garden and dog friendly beach (February) literally across the road. We ordered tescos for arrival which was really easy. As out of season, no nearby shops, but we expected this and felt prepared with our tescos. Peaceful locations and great for dog walks. Would definitely recommend "

"Hoot Hollow is lovely, a spacious bungalow and a perfect place to unwind. The beaches nearby are deserted except for a few dogs and horses. At the end of the day it was pure bliss to sink into the hot tub and watch the sun setting. Really classy decoration inside and outside of the bungalow with modern touches making life easy. Excellent communication with the host. Will more than likely be back in the future! 😊"
