Close to Crystal River in Yankeetown, this truly is a Floridian paradise ideal for families and fisherman This unique property incorporates hundreds of feet of waterfrontage, a private peninsula and outstanding grounds right on two deep water canals, only minutes by boat to the Gulf access. Two docks and a private boat ramp make it truly one of a kind, PLUS a swimming pool ( unheated) in fully screened room ensure kids and adults have plenty of family fun times while enjoying superb sunsets. Old time Florida at its best and rarest. Wildlife and fish abound. Manatees come to see you as well as dolphins and yes.....alligators. Take a trip down the river to the Gulf and you may be as lucky as we have been to see the flock of Roseate Spoonbills that live on Harper Island. Breathtaking.
Want to have a family reunion and cook out? Plenty of room as the grounds extend far and wide. Need more room? We also own the adjoining property so space abounds! .Want a bit of wining and dining? One of Florida's best restaurants is five minutes by boat or road, or Crystal River is 14 miles down the road.

Inside is very spacious and open plan and in honor of its original owner, an incredible local woman who did so much for Nature Conservancy, has been decorated in mid century retro style. Think cocktail carts and lava lamps and bright colors. Its been fun hunting those down.
We know that you will learn to love this unique property as much as we do and we are honored to be guardians of such a one of a kind Floridian estate and want to share it with you!

We welcome longer term stays which are discounted for up to three months. We recommend buying travel or trip insurance to cover any eventualities that may arise

Perfect place to stay!!
Annie gave us lots of information on events and activities before we even arrived. She communicated once we did arrive for any questions. The house was perfect and we put to use the pool, UNO and dominoes!! The house has everything you need. We had a great time scalloping, and tubing/kayaking rainbow river. We will definitely be back!😁

Wonderful Home & Property
We stayed here for several days over Mother's Day in May 2024. This is a really nice home to stay at, and it is on a beautiful piece of property. There are several kayaks and the kayaking and fishing in the area is excellent. The owners are very nice people who are friendly, responsive and honest. The screened-in back patio and pool is nice, and the kids loved swimming in the pool. We have family nearby and we often visit the area and hope to be able to return again. This is old Florida and quite nice.

The home is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. I said Magical because it was. Quiet neighborhood right along the canal. We saw Manatee and a Gator. Having the pool for the grandkids to enjoy was a great time for all. The Owners went above and beyond in communicating with us and even checking in from time to time to see if we needed anything during our stay. Hope to return soon. Relax and enjoy!
The property is absolutely beautiful. They supplied kayaks which we took advantage of and cruised the canals to the gulf. We saw a mama dolphin and her baby, turtles, manatees. It was so relaxing!! Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Unique location
Very nice location right on the river on a quiet street in a quiet area. Nice newly nenovated home with lots of room. Manatees swam by. Can catch fish from the property. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Boat launch nearby right at the Gulf. Great seafood shops nearby and Crystal River is just 15min away.

Absolute paradise!
We had the most amazing time during our stay. Perfect for a family getaway. The house is beautiful and everything is exactly how it’s described in the listing. The hosts are so lovely, communicative, and easy to work with! The views are spectacular and having a private boat ramp on-site made it super easy to launch and load our boat. There are two floating docks on property that make boating easy and effortless. So much to see and explore on the water. Easy access to the gulf and tons of wildlife to enjoy. We will definitely be back and are so thankful for the experience! :)

End of summer
Had a great time. Property had plenty of open space and parking with room for our large group. We had 2 boats up to 26’ that we could get in and out of the ramp on site. When the second dock is done it will have plenty of parking on the water. Kids loved the pool and fishing off the bank. Close to the gulf and rainbow river so plenty to do. House was clean and tidy. Could use a couple more ceiling fans on the porch and bedrooms and maybe a crock pot. We maxed out the fridge between 2 families but made it work. We had manatees off the dock several times as well. Annie was very attentive and a great host so that was appreciated as well.

Family Girls Trip
The property was perfect for our Girls Trip. Very relaxing and comfortable environment. The metal roof made it impossible to receive telephone calls while in the house which was a blessing in disguise because I really needed to disconnect and have downtime since I work 60+ hours a week. The property manager was very attentive. We all had a blast!!

Hidden Slice of Paradise
Annie and Kent were the best hosts ever! They were there with anything we needed, even lending some tools so I could fix my boat. The house is spectacular, with everything we could have needed. The pool is cool and refreshing after a hot day on the water. Yankeetown is quaint, and perfect if you’re trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend this property to any of my family or friends. The pictures don’t do the view justice, the house sits on a peninsula at the end of the street with water on three sides. The sunsets were spectacular. There’s even a grass boat ramp at the property which I used to launch my small skiff. The folks at Yankeetown Marina were kind and helpful, we always felt very welcomed. Was afraid the ride out of the river through the inlet would be quite long, but it was no more than 30-45 mins to the end of the channel markers via an underpowered pontoon boat.

Very nice property!
The house and location is amazing! We were able to use the boat ramp and dock and the kids loved fishing and swimming in the pool! Only suggestion is bring bug spray...the no-see-ums and deer flies were pretty bad. Other than that everything was perfect and Annie was a great host 😊

Relaxing quiet area with lots of activities close by
We had a wonderful time at Annie's home. It's a nice quiet area with a lot of things to do close by. We rented a pontoon boat on the Withlacoochee River one day and one on the Crystal River another day. Kayaking on the Rainbow River and the Three Sister's Springs was amazing. Also kayaking right from the house on the Withlacoochee was great too! Alligators and manatees swam right by the house. Lots of great restaurants to try too ~ Blackwater, Crackers, the Freezer, Waterfront Social to name a few. Annie was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back!

Wonderful Nature Coast Getaway
Beautiful nature coast area of “Old Florida”! Daily visits from eagles, gators, dolphins, hawks and manatees! Abundant nature preserves in and around the area. Hiking, kayaking, bicycling, boating and fishing are just a few ways to take in all the beauty that this area has to offer. We brought our own boat and were able to launch and dock at the property which made it so convenient. Hiring a guide to help us acquire local knowledge of the water and fishing was very valuable. Yankeetown Marina (minutes from the property) has everything you need for boating, including setting you up with guides. Mama Sally’s Diner is a wonderful local place for great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Blackwater Restaurant, minutes from the property by car or water, is an excellent choice too. Catch and clean your own fish and then Blackwater will cook it for you anyway you want. This property is a wonderful choice for rest and relaxation. Very clean. Wanted for nothing. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Smart TV. A beautiful screened enclosed pool with a marvelous view. Hosts were VERY attentive to any and all our needs. Will hopefully be able to revisit this property again in the future. Thanks so much for everything Annie and Kent!
