"Central, good atmosphere , very close to the concert venue. Staff more than helpful. Only issue was that the bar closes at 11:00pm. so we had to go elsewhere for a drink after our concert. "

"The whole town is very compressed and tight for space. Part of the charm. The rooms at the Nook may not suit some people in terms of access as there are stairs to some of the rooms. Also quite noisy as very near a couple of pubs but if you accept this as part of the surroundings then its great. Room was good, bar and restaurant down stairs with excellent service in the evening and at breakfast. Would go again. "

"The pub staff were very welcoming,the breakfasts were generous portions and very well cooked.we ate on both evenings and again the meals were very good. The owner who I think was called Laura was extremely helpful with local knowledge about the walking routes that are available and she even let us borrow a map. The area is beautiful and a walkers paradise. We will return to this Inn."

"Really great pub in fantastic location. Had a wonderful 2 night stay with my partner and dog. The room was big and had everything we needed. The only negative was the tv was a bit on the small side. They don’t do breakfast but there are plenty of options in the village or use their sister pub in Hope and get discount. (Best breakfast we had) We also ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. 100% recommend staying here. "
