Gave someone else a key to our room when our teenage son was in there alone; in bed! Never once cleaned the room prperly in our 5 night stay, even when asked on two occassions to do it. Very (very!) expensive hotel with a below average approach to customer service.

Hotel is within walking distance to important sites and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved spending time in the lobby close to the fireplace with a drink from the bar. My only drawback was that when we checked in, our double bed room was given to another guest and only king rooms were available. We had to ask for a rollaway bed, but the staff was very accommodating.

Stains in carpet, spider in the room, outdated and boring decor, the view from our room was a water damaged roof top on an older building, and did not feel safe walking to/from the car when we checked in after dark (lots of people loitering unaffiliated with the hotel).
