Great Little Cabin
Overall was a great little cabin. Daughter is a student at IU and this was an inexpensive alternate to hotel rooms that were thru the roof for the weekend. Its a bit of a drive down crooked rural roads, but a beautiful part of the country. Would be great access to Nashville.
Peaceful and remote, but the check in process is a bit onerous. You have to go to the Property Manager office to pick up the key and drop it back off, but it is 5 miles in the wrong direction from the cabin, so adds at least 20 minutes to the drive from Bloomington on check in/out day. Also, they have written directions on a small map to find the place. Made me feel like a pirate with a buried treasure map. Less than ideal when it is dark out and you are tired trying to find street signs at 55 mph. Give a GPS coordinate, at least, or an address. I ended up dropping a pin to navigate to/from once I got there, made it 10x easier.
No wifi, but Verizon had great service. Put in a Starlink, and make the front door a Bluetooth code, eliminate the keys, and it would be perfect.
The place was super clean, the little pond was beautiful, the bathroom was modern, kitchen would be great.
Despite the key process, I will book here again, because its worth it.
