"Cathy and Uli have worked hard to add charm and comfort to Maggie's rustic farmhouse from a bygone era. It was a wonderful time to be there. So peaceful, set back from the road and surrounded by the beautiful Fall colours. Very nice to sit by the fire burning in the wood stove and enjoy one of the many interesting local history books. "

"The house was perfect for us. Way out in the middle of nowhere, quiet and secluded. The house was clean and and lots of room for the kids to run around. There is a wonderful trail that leads out to a cliff Lookout. The house is owned by a nearby (12 km away) wilderness resort. The hot tub and wifi mentioned in the ad are located there, not at this house. Watch out with leaving food around outside, we did spot a coyote near the house while we were outside having a bonfire. "We had a very special experience of the stay. Very convenience going to Cabot Trail and the national park. Friendly attitude and timely response. The natural environment was great with ocean, stars and the green views. However, please be mindful of the mosquitos and please adjust your expectations of the furniture/equipment considering the locations of the place. "

"We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25.
