Very carefully restored farmhouse with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (two with shower and two with bathtub) equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. Lots of space outside: pergola outside the house ideal for breakfast and porch for dining and barbeque enjoying the view of the swimming pool. Large garden with fruit trees and organic vegetable garden. Eight bicycles are available (6 for adults and 2 for children) for rides in the countryside. The house is located 3 km from the town and is very quiet and suitable for families with children. Ideal for a nice relaxing summer vacation. In the surroundings there are very characteristic villages and cellars to taste good wine. Restaurants with excellent local cuisine at reasonable prices. Ability to make trips out of town to Milan, Turin and Genoa. All three cities are about 100 km from the house.

Best ever!!!
We have rented many houses over the years. But this was upperclass. First: Our contact Rosella was very friendly and everything was possible. Our host Mario: if you meet him, you love him. What a nice and friendly and helpfull person. The house: old farm, nicely decorated like a castle! Clean and very well equipped. Even a BBQ, Bikes and Bluetooth Stereo. The garden: breathtaking views from the roofed terrace, with music and a very nice pool! Surroundings: In between Genova Torino and Milano and smaller cities like Alba and Asti. And UNESCO protected vineyards, with lots of cantinas to visit. Absolute 10+.

Perfect place for a holiday in Piemonte
It is very easy to write a positivie review for Cascina Gallinara. The property was well-maintained and clean with all equipment needed for a longer stay. Spacious bedrooms and multiple bathrooms made it possible to enjoy the holiday without hassle for two families with children. The patio and pool area overlooking beautifull Piemonte hills were amazing. We will not forget bbq dinners on the patio watching the sunset. The owners were very friendly and helped us to find the best restaurants in the area. They also kindly organised a visit to a good winery nearby. We felt that they really wanted us to get the most of our stay. The location is good for exploring Barbera and Barolo wines. In addition to Asti and Alba that are still within a decent driving distance from the property, there are multiple smaller villages like Nizza Monferrato and Canelli worth of vistiting no longer than within 15-30 minutes from the property by car. We could go to this place another time and can recommend it to anyone!

What a lovely place, we had a fantastic holiday, the pool was excellent and having someone who comes to clean it each day was also great. The garden is huge and 4 kids had great fun Overall really great break

Refurbished farm house in beatiful surroundings
I stayed in Cascina Gallinara for 2 weeks with family and friends. The property and location more than met my expectations. The house is spacious and well refurbished, but still has a lot of country atmosphere. The outside facilities (pool and covered lounge area) are excellent. In addition we enjoyed the ability to barbeque and pick fresh vegetables and herbs in the garden. The location at the top of a hill is good and and there is a lot of small vineyards nearby. Also there are some good restaurants in the area (especially Relais 1-2-3) as well as in Nizza Monferatto (e.g. Tanti). We did not have much contact with the owners during our stay, but they were friendly and helpful as was the caretaker who came by daily to clean the pool etc. The main drawback was noise from dogs at the neighbouring property (which seemed to be under refurbishment during our stay) and the 1-2 hours driving distance to the "big" wine areas in Alba such as Barollo and Barbaresco. I hope to be able to visit Cascina Gallinara again!

В июле 2014 мы очень класно отдохнули у госпожи Розетты ! МЫ- это две семьи (четверо взрослых и трое детей б даое из которых подростки по 18 лет). КЛАСНО ОТДОХНУЛИ - это в совершенной итальянской деревне с морем возможностей отлично сесть маленьких местных рестаранчиках и попить очень качественного вина из местных погребков ! хозяева - супер !!! условия отличные - особенно бассейн и навес , где мы проводили 80 процентов времени если не розъежали по окресностям. спасибо , сто такие места есть !
