"The location was great, walking distance to everything. The property is clean but little bit old, and we had an incident with one of the rooms that we booked plus the terrible communication between us and the staff that made us really unhappy. Also the bed is too small."

"This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"Great location and great view of Old Town from the windows. Clean and spacious. Beds are comfy. Can walk from the train to this location as well. Only thing to be aware of is 3 flights of stairs with luggage is required. "

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"Great location, entry is simple and as these are proper apartments, there is no noise from neighbours etc. Spacious apartment with Hive heating, all facilities you would expect also. Would happily stay here again."

"The linton collection was an excellent apartment block in a very good location just off the royal mile. There was a great speak easy type cocktail bar next door called the three blind mice and it was easy to walk to most actractions from the apartment. I would highly recomend the apartment as it had an excellent bathroom with a brilliant shower and free molton brown products to use. Great heating for winter stays and a fan provided if needed. "The staff on the phone COULD NOT have been nicer or more helpful!!! They were not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and guided us every step of the way when I got lost. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable and in a wonderful location, right in the heart of everything!! Highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"We were reloacated to hilton as our accommodation was not available. The staff were very helpful and kind after all our inconvenience we had been through ! Savia we so helpful full of live enthusiastic and kind. Her service was perfect..."

"Big and spacious. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Walkable to train station and major places of interest. One major downside is the security. When we are out, there were 2 occurences of entry. One left the living room lights on and the other cleared our trash. Chatted online with destiny and they said no unauthorised entries in their records. If there is any form of housekeeping, please let the guests know so the guests feel safer."

"The place is great: clean, modern, spacious, nicely equipped (even with a small safe - like in a hotel!). Very easy to get to with a tram stop nearby. There is a storage room if you get there too early or need to leave hours before your next destination. "We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. Great hotel but note Spa is an "add on".

"Perfect 2 night stay for my wife's 40th birthday surprise. The room and hotel overall were spotless. The only negative we had was that the rooftop Spa is not included in the price and is an extra £35pp (discounted from the regular price of £90pp) for a 3hr slot only which was a little disappointing when it is advertised as part of the hotel experience. We did add this on though and the spa is very good and worth the discounted price but definitely not the full £90pp for 3hrs access. Breakfast is highly recommended great selection and quality."

A wonderful spot in Edinburgh

"The location is ideal! It is a short walk from the train station with bus and tram stops steps away. Even though it is right on a busy road it is a quiet sanctuary. The room was a peaceful place to end every day of walking this gorgeous clean city. The breakfast buffet was a delicious way to begin each day. It was the only hotel in my price range that offered 2 twin beds in the same room. Unlike the US, a “double room” means 1 bed for 2 people. "
